Guesthouse Bel Duomo

Perfect place to stay for a trip to Florence. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. You are steps away from the Piazza del Duomo and as you leave the house you are right on the main road where all the action is happening. It is easy to get to it from the train station and plenty of restaurant options are around. We loved it and will stay here again when we return to Florence.

Good location. NO ELEVATOR. Be aware for the disability and old persons. More than 82 ladder steps to the room. Hot water only the first night. Very friendly staff.

Really easy to do check in even if you come really late at night. The place is very nice and near the important areas.

Room had all the amenities you wish as a family: fullsize fridge, dryer rack for clothes, plates and cutlery. Unfortunately the bathroom has no windows and a clogged ventilation and thats why the bathroom was mouldy. The beds were comfortable (some hard, some soft). The room had an alarm system (door and movements) and was cleaned daily during our stay. The location of the guesthouse is unbeatable, directly next to the dome and a 5 minutes walk from the train station - but there are a lot of guesthouses who have a similiar location. We would stay there again because we anyway where only there for sleeping - but we would not recommend it for people with severe allergies because of the mould in the bathroom.

20 meters from the basilica, prime location. But the staircase is dark and tall, and there is no lift. pack light.

Super convenient for the Duomo, the station and the historic centre, but that means it can be a bit noisy. Otherwise decent room, lovely staff and would stay again. Thanks

The location was good that all the good news. Upon arrival we rang the doorbell and we were buzzed in to a long, dingy hallway. No one met us, and we heard a voice from the second floor yelling hello, that was our reception. We sent a scout up the stairs to find that reception was on the third floor, for those in Europe that’s #2. We asked for two twin beds a Got one large bed and a spring cot. The large bed had an old mattress that leaned to one side. The bathroom was a small it’s a postage stamp literally 3‘ x 3‘. The shower was a hole in the wall with the curtain to separate from the toilet sink and toilet paper. The pictures they provide DO NOT adequately describe the place. There was no breakfast include, they gave us a card for 25% off at a coffee bar of their choice. The rooms were cleaned daily and there was a refrigerator and A/C in the room

We arrived early and our room was ready. The guy that checked us in was extremely friendly and pleasant. The room was spacious and plenty of room for 4 people. The hotel is around the corner from the duomo. We would stay again next time in florence.

The staff was personable and very helpful. The location was excellent, close to shopping, transportation, and tourist sites. I highly recommend this hotel.
