Hotel Giappone

Great location, walking distance to the train station and two minutes to the center. Clean room. Friendly staff.

Very nice rooms, fresh and clean. Great air condition for a cold room. Overall the room was very fresh. However there’s a lot of stairs up to the hotel and loud street because of workers early in the mornings. Otherwise top.

Extremely well located, close to the sights and transport links. Not the cheapest hotel but reasonable for the location. I didn’t mind the four floors of old Italian stairs one has to ascend to reach the hotel, adds character, though it is a bit of effort. The room was nicely sized and clean, had everything I could ask for. But, my issue was the “private bathroom”. It was private but not attached to the bedroom, it was a small separate room down the hall way. I wouldn’t have booked here if I’d realised that, I don’t want to have to be getting dressed, walking down hallways and locking and unlocking doors in the middle of the night.

Loved my stay! The hotel consists of a handful of rooms on the fourth floor (so be prepared for a hike!). The room I stayed in was modern and clean, with a nice view of a main shopping street (and slight peak of the duomo). Area is safe and secure and PIN code access is needed for both the door at street level and the hotel floor itself. Had a great stay and would recommend again.

It was 75 plus stairs to the office and I am 76 years old. I just about died carrying my luggage up the stairs.
