The hotel’s centrality makes this property an immediate choice for me. I loved that we could walk everywhere and that public transportation was also easily accessible. Our room was well equipped with all the basics, and not to mention very clean. Only downside would be the shower; it was VERY small and in need of some remodeling. Apart from that, you can’t beat this place!

It was directly across the street from the Palace. And in behind the hotel has the most charming streets and plazas with outstanding cafes and restaurants. The staff were so helpful in navigating Florence and suggesting things to do.

Really like the ambiance of the place, large spacious room and the location is very convenient. Staff clean room daily. Only two suggestions for improvements: 1. The toilet is located too close to the shower, don’t really have enough space to sit straight, had to sit sideways. 2. Really appreciate staff to clean and change towel daily, but room doesn’t have a note to hang by the door to refuse cleaning. It would be nice to have that option if you don’t need daily cleaning. Other than that, everything is good. Staff is also very nice and friendly and has an old time charm about it.

I loved the location for this property, many restaurant options and shops and walking distance to most of Florence. I can't answer to staff and service because other than check in and check out, I didn't see anyone. cell service is terrible inside the building which wouldn't be a big deal if the wifi worked. I followed the directions displayed in my room to connect to wifi and I only had it working intermittently for a few minutes at a time when I was in my room. When I was checking out I mentioned it and she told me that I should have used another password and it would have worked. how was I supposed to know? I should have asked I guess. It was incredibly frustrating. anyway, I booked a room with a shared bathroom, it was a first for me, but not a big problem, although I prayed every time I walked down the hallway that it was open and it was. The bathroom was clean every-time I used it, I wish there were hand towels or something to dry when I washed my hands because I never remembered to bring a towel from my room. another note, I stayed here for 5 days and never had my towel replaced, I could have asked someone but never saw anyone. I don't want this to be a negative review. I got a good rate for this room and I loved the location. I would have left as a much happier person if I wasn't dreading the wifi issue everytime I came back to my room. I don't know if I would stay here again, it would depend on my other options and who was traveling with me.

This was a great location for our trip and we enjoyed walking around the area. We ate dinner at Osteria le Pietre which was great and got breakfast a few doors down at a nice cafe. It's right across from the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which we did one day.

Can’t beat the location, good service and good amenities. Only thing I would caution is that the sound proofing isn’t great which wasn’t an issue for me, but if you are very sensitive to noise keep that in mind.

The lady at reception is very nice and friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick. The lady also helped us carry the luggage to the room. The room was ok. Bathroom is small and had unpleasant smile, which also entered into the room. The restaurant next door was noisy in the night time.

The walls and doors were thin and you could hear everything from the halls.. including every time the elevator moved. there wasn’t a comforter on the bed, just a top sheet :/

Location and price were great! Nothing fancy but nice, clean and the staff were wonderful
