Porta Rossa Hotel Firenze Colbert Collection

We were extremely satisfied with this hotel. Its location is absolutely superb, right next to Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. It was so convenient to pop back for a quick rest during midday sightseeing. Plus, it's a short walk to Florence Cathedral and Accademia Gallery, making it incredibly easy to get around. The hotel's decor is artistic yet highly functional. We booked a family room, and it was much more spacious than we expected – it actually felt like the hotel undersold its room sizes, which is a pleasant surprise! The shower facilities and space also exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was both exquisite and delicious. Honestly, this hotel met all our requirements for a Florence stay – it was impeccable and offered great value for money. Even for someone like me, who rarely bothers to write reviews, I couldn't help but rave about this place.

This historic hotel is located near tourist attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is elegant. It was a truly pleasant experience. The room rate already included the city tax, so I'm not sure why the hotel charged it again. However, Ctrip customer service quickly made adjustments. I'm grateful to the Ctrip hotel manager.
