Everything was great! Only critique is plug sockets weren't accessible from the bed which was a little inconvenient

I would definitely not rate this hotel as 5star, expected a little luxury but was very disappointed. Room was spacious but looked more like a 3 star travelodge very dated with basic amenities. Shower was far from a power shower with cheap shower curtain. Loose floor tiles without grouting. Phone had obviously fallen of at some point and just plastered back on with paint. Light didn't always work in the room so make sure you have a light on your phone. Bed frame peeling 😩 If you go for a swim in the pool there are no showering facilities or changing rooms prepare to pay €15 to use them along with the small sauna or walk back to your room with wet swimming costume. Breakfast was very basic and not very tasty just mass produced cheap produce. If you want an espresso you need to pay extra only standard filter coffee and tea available. Floor 4 was near to the Indian restaurant and the cooking smell became very over bearing at times.

While the hotel has certainly seen better days, we still enjoyed a comfortable 3-day stay. We were looking for a location close to the city's main attractions and a nice outdoor pool, and the hotel delivered perfectly on both counts. The hotel's private beach option is also a big plus, and the overall poolside service was excellent. Our room was spacious – I believe it would also be ideal for extended stays – with ample storage, a comfortable desk, an armchair, a table, and a balcony furnished with a table and chairs. The room's excellent soundproofing was particularly important to us. However, there were a few downsides: 1. We strongly advise against booking the room with breakfast. While there appeared to be a wide selection, nothing was truly noteworthy. The products were of very poor quality and heavily processed, including terrible white bread with no dark or wholemeal options. The cold cuts looked distinctly unappetizing (also heavily processed), and the powdered egg dishes were tragic. Even the fruit was either tasteless or from a can. Our daily saviors ended up being plain boiled eggs, tomatoes, and lettuce ;) We significantly overpaid and wasted considerable time queuing in the breakfast room. Given the chance, we would definitely skip it next time, head out for sightseeing earlier, and use the budget for breakfast in town or an early lunch. 2. Security Deposit – It's been two weeks since our stay ended, and the hotel still hasn't refunded our security deposit. We didn't incur any in-room charges, yet the hotel is still holding onto our funds. Contacting the hotel hasn't resolved the issue, and we are still awaiting the refund. For a 7-night stay, the deposit would amount to 350 euros, which I believe is a significant sum for many people.

Lovely hotel, staff very good and friendly. Service at pool very good one day and very bad another day. Lovely to be able to swim in Med from man made beach...could make it more comfy under foot. Very close to valette entry bridge.... 5 min walk.. Outside toilet out of use and disgusting but not blocked off and no signage. Wasn't a nice find! Jacuzzi too cold....same as pool.

Reception desk was very friendly. Lobby was nice. Rooms a bit older, but most furniture in a good condition. Bar open 24/7

Good location for business trip. 10 minutes walk from old town, full of restaurants options and shopping. Amenities needs an update, services is great.

We had a really nice stay at your hotel.. only suggestion..hot tub should be hot…not just bubbles

Liked location & staff all friendly .  rooms need bringing up to date , tired , carpet needs replacing with wood or tiles . It’s dirty . Bathroom needs renovating. However keep the sinks they are very retro . Good solid bedroom furniture in keeping with style of Htl . Technical needs up dating - no usb by bed for mobile charger . Main restaurant, zero ambiance, & expensive. Courtesy car to old town fab service . If you’re stuck get Bolt taxis - cheap , reliable & fast service, get the App . Pool area lovely with marina view. Pool bar at night service a bit slow , could be more variety on the snack menu .

Overall, pretty good.

A huge and grand hotel, with very old fashioned furniture which I’m not a big fan of but was manageable for a night as the actual hotel, facilities and location are amazing! A beautiful indoor pool, amazing outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the sea, and gorgeous Tiki huts, for chilling out during warm nights. Breakfast was average and they don’t have a coffee machine but bring jugs of coffee to the table, bit strange. Alohonso was concierge was super friendly. Didn’t use sauna and steam room as they charge 10€! Overall very happy with stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. We were upgraded to a superior sea view room on floor 10. Very good size and in excellent order. The decor is very traditional with mahogany furniture. Suits us very well. The hotel Is situated a short distance from Valletta in Floriana but due to its location on a hillside requires a significant negotiation of steps and a steep hill climb to the City. The hotel runs a free minibus service every 20-30 minutes to the hilltop and this is a great asset. There are a number of very pleasant seating areas in the spacious bar area on floor 6 that is the check-in reception area. A large restaurant on floor 4 serves an extensive menu. On floor 1 a very large leisure area surrounding a nice big fresh water swimming pool of various depths to 2.5 m. Also bars on this area. There is also an area for sea swimming and a large indoor pool. Service is excellent

We really enjoyed our stay. It offered good value for money, and overall, we recommend it.

Room service menu needs work. They also need to invest in new towels.
