SpringHill Suites Fort Lauderdale Miramar

Everything as far as the hotel was fine. But there was a problem with a couple checking in. I don't know what the problem was but it escalated when the hotel associate stepped out behind the counter. That should never happen.

Air conditioner would not adjust to a cooler setting. Didn’t bother to move rooms since it was not a lengthy stay.

one of the best hotels i have stayed in in the US. exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and ample space. breakfast was clean with quality options. would stay here time and time again.

Reception/Greeting was very very unprofessional and rude. Cannot make the difference between an I and an L and therefore cannot check us in and almost sent us away instead of clarifying first. No Manager on duty to solve issues. Hotel is to close to the highway, so that you can hear the noise in the room.

From arrival to departure - great decision to stay here. Proximity to eateries, the stadium and turn pike, add to that top tier service and conditions make SpringHill Suites Miramar THE place to stay. Other notes of interest, quiet and clean.

Room was as advertised. Clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They provide a shuttle to and from Hard Rock Stadium for dolphins games which is why I was there. There are plenty of places to eat just across the highway as well 2 minutes down the road. Very convenient. Would recommend.

When I checked in, I got a room on the ground floor due to other rooms not available. I encountered a dead baby frog on the bathroom floor next to the toilet & immediately notified the agent that checked me in. She changed my room to another on the 4th floor. That night while taking a shower, I noticed mildew on the racks that held the bodywash, shampoo & conditioner bottles & ants were on the desk in the sitting area. The following morning, after I opened the curtains, I noticed 1 of the pillowcases were stained. I didn't escalate it because they were scheduled to clean my room in any event. I still had to ask for drinking cups to be replenished after having to go downstairs and get some. The following morning, I rolled on the opposite side of where I slept on the bed, & a disgusting toe or fingernail scraped my thigh. I called front desk & the agent said his power was limited as to what he can do but he will let the manager know. I left a note on the bed with the nail, stating to change the bedding. I still went downstairs & spoke directly to the front desk agent who took my call & asked for the manager. He said the manager was out until Tuesday (it was Sunday) so I asked for the supervisor & reported my issues to her. She assured me she would have someone take care of the issues. The alarm clock went off unexpectedly at 6am the 1st morning, which was annoying. I called the front desk agent to inquire about the breakfast menu & she was unable to tell me specifically.

This has been my hotel of choice for my past two visits to this area. The rooms are very spacious, clean and the hospitality is always pleasant and professional.
