Shelari-gu Hotspring Hotel

The room was spacious, and I could even bathe on the balcony! The staff were professional and enthusiastic. The room offered a spectacular view of the entire valley from the balcony. The Claypot King restaurant in town was absolutely delicious! My son had a blast at the water park, thoroughly enjoying all the river rafts and water slides. The non-powered amusement park was also great; I just wish I had planned better and gone there first thing in the morning before 10 AM, dedicating the rest of the time to the water park. However, everything worked out for the best, even though my son's face was flushed red from the midday heat, he still had a fantastic time. It was definitely worth the 130 km drive; both adults and kids had a wonderful time.

## Facilities: The room was spacious, well-equipped, clean, and free of any strange odors. The balcony offered a nice view. ## Hotel Entertainment: The hotel boasts many entertainment options, with a water park and hot springs located very close by. Although it was the National Day holiday and quite busy, it wasn't as crowded as I had imagined. ## Temple Fair: Unfortunately, it rained during the temple fair, rendering many tables unusable and making it difficult to find a place to sit. The variety of food was decent. You could play games at the fair, but winning prizes was quite challenging. There were fireworks in the evening, which I could conveniently watch from my balcony. ## Breakfast: The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering the widest variety I've encountered in any hotel to date. The quality was also good, but it was genuinely crowded, and I spent most of the time queuing.

The service was great, and they even offered free late-night snacks, which I unfortunately couldn't eat because I was too full. I'd suggest letting guests come downstairs for the late-night snacks on a first-come, first-served basis. That way, there'd be less waste! The room and hygiene were good, and the outdoor hot springs were also excellent. Buye Valley was a lot of fun!

Xilegu is the top choice for family trips with kids! The parent-child themed room was such a pleasant surprise; it even had a slide, and the kids went wild as soon as we entered. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the private hot spring on the balcony offered great privacy. The resort amenities were fantastic: the Phoenix Hot Spring, a water park, a huge non-powered playground, and in the evening, the 'Sleepless Valley' night view and performances kept the kids entertained all day long. The park's electric shuttles were on-call, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including a full selection of Cantonese dim sum. It's a one-stop destination for family fun, no need to travel elsewhere, and the whole family had a blast. Highly recommended for family outings!

Staying at this hotel during the National Day holiday, paying double the price, was a terrible experience. The check-in process was inefficient, the hotel is very old, and the room had a strong, stale, musty smell! The first room had such a heavy musty smell that I wanted to change rooms, but when I called the front desk, no one answered. The hotel also asked me to add a customer manager on WeChat during check-in, but they never accepted my request, so I had no way to provide feedback. Later, I contacted Trip.com customer service, and they helped me switch rooms, but the musty smell was still very strong, and the hygiene was very subpar. I saw what looked like dust or mold everywhere. The hallway and room lighting was dim. Breakfast was awful. I understand the price increase for meals during the National Day holiday, but the staff only cared about collecting fees for extra people. There was no one to seat us, no crowd control, so we had to go in and find seats ourselves. The restaurant space was small, and a bunch of people were crammed together grabbing food, like a scramble. This is truly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I'll never go back.

Environment: Surrounded by trees, so the air quality is excellent. Hygiene: The room was clean and had no strange odors. Service: All hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, solving problems efficiently and without hesitation. They were always kind and smiling.

I booked this last minute, and since I'd stayed here before, I didn't research the room much. When I arrived, I realized it wasn't in the main building. It was completely different from the main building, felt like a totally separate hotel. The decor was run-down, and the hygiene was concerning. I wanted to set up the sofa bed for my child and found the duvet was very dirty. Luckily, the staff responded quickly and replaced it right away. But it really put a damper on things. In the evening, when I tried to make the shower water a bit hotter, the water pressure wasn't enough. It really feels like this section is dragging down the brand's reputation; I don't think they should even be sold together. Thankfully, the dining and recreational facilities weren't much different from the main building, and the quality was still good. My child had as much fun as last time. I'll never choose this room type or this area again.

This trip was absolutely fantastic! It was my birthday, and my butler Rui Rui (锐锐) upgraded us to a family room and even decorated it in advance, creating a lovely birthday atmosphere. That evening, she even conspired with my husband to surprise me by secretly placing a birthday cake in the room – I was truly touched! The staff at the hot spring area were also incredibly friendly. They quietly upgraded me to the VIP changing area and proactively told me there were cookies and juice in the upstairs lounge. The experience was truly excellent! We had so much fun this time. The hot springs and water park were amazing, but the temple fair food was also very unique! There were so many stalls with all sorts of delicious food, and you could play various games. The lady at the ring toss game was so encouraging and praised my little one's clumsy ring-tossing skills, which made my child incredibly happy! Oh, and the hotel's service was genuinely outstanding. I also want to thank the lady at the front desk. My husband twisted his ankle before we left, and the front desk staff lent him some medicated oil. When I went down late at night to store something, I saw another parent urgently telling the front desk their baby wasn't feeling well, and the front desk quickly provided a first-aid kit. The service was genuinely excellent! All in all, this was a very happy experience. We played well, ate well, and if we get the chance, we'll definitely go again. Thank you to Butler Rui Rui, the front desk ladies, the hot spring front desk ladies, the gentlemen and ladies at the temple fair area, and all the gentlemen and ladies who tirelessly welcomed guests under the sun!

The experience at Qingyuan Xilegu Resort was fantastic! The environment is serene, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There are many natural hot spring pools with excellent water quality, making a soak incredibly relaxing and stress-relieving. The resort's night views are beautiful, facilities are complete, and the service is attentive. It's very convenient for self-driving trips, making it a great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Highly recommended!
