My stay at the Garner Inn & Suites was exceptional in every way. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious, including a king bed, two leather reclining chairs, a leather sofa, refrigerator and TV. The owner/manager, Andy went above and beyond to help me navigate getting to and from my stay, as Uber and Lyft were not available in the area. A great experience.

Very Nice Hotel in an Easily Accessible Location
We stayed at the Garner Inn & Suites after a concert at the Surf Ballroom in nearby Clear Lake. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive from Clear Lake, super easy, just down the highway. The Garner Inn is very comfortable and well appointed, actually nicer than you might expect to find in a small town. The breakfast included hot items like sausage and omelets, in addition to the expected items like a waffle machine and muffins and yogurt. Staff was very friendly.

Considering smaller, independent hotels can be a challenge as opposed to chains you're familiar with. However Garner Inn & Suites is 1st rate! Home-made cookies on weekends @ the desk, a good brkf but most of all clean, quiet, well-appointed rooms @ interesection of 2 U.S. Hwy's (#18 & #69). Also, staff very helpful. Apparently a light was left on in our car on a cold winter night; staff came out with a 'quick' charger & we were on our way! PS - also a small business center with printer!

Our extended family has booked 10+ rooms on two occasions in the past year at the Garner Inn and Suites. The rooms are always very clean, the staff is very accommodating and the common area is great space for family members to gather. I recommend this location to family and friends.

The room and entire facility were very clean. Our room was spacious. Pretty pond out back. Great full hot breakfast! Omelets, potatoes, sausage, and much more. There was even a massage chair in the lobby. Came for the Hobo Days Festival in nearby Britt.

Small hotel with close parking available. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast area was clean. There’s no elevator; so, if you can’t do stairs, be sure to request a ground level room.

Be sure to confirm the price before booking. The website listed the price per night at less than $100 but the actual price per night was more than $157 per night. Soft beds and underwhelming small TV. No breakfast left by 9:00 a.m. We were disappointed to say the least.
