The room was nice and clean and well appointed. Daily room service was nice and nice amenities. The property listing doesn’t make it clear the rooms are directly above a bar/pub which does stop at 12 am so ear plugs are a must as noise and vibrations still travel. There are limited facilities other than a small table outside. Nice and central to main shops and beaches.

The wall of room was very thin with poor insulation. You can hear people in the diner/pub and the people next door in the late evening and early morning.
Mugs, glass and sofa were dirty, and there was no hair dryer.

I accidentally booked the wrong date - almost 2 weeks later than our stay in Forster. On site staff, on the same day I booked, said they couldn't help. Wotif staff enquired on my behalf and refund was refused. Email to tge venue, requesting confirmation that there would be no refund was not answered. Will make sure to check in future and will not book this venue

The rooms have been recently nicely upgraded. The ensuite bathrooms are nice. I reported a hole in the wall above the bed to reception and was told 'I suppose someone knows'. The curtains were extremely difficult to slide. I thought the curtain tracks would come down whilst trying to close the curtains. I am glade I am not the owner who paid for these room renovations only to see they quickly go into disrepair.
