AmericInn by Wyndham Fort Atkinson

Returning visitors We had stayed at this Americinn in October visiting family. We knew it would be clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The biggest selling point was the price which was reasonable even on a weekend. We will be back the next time we travel to Fort Atdinson.

Room stunk as soon as we opened the door, not sure where it came from, think the A/C unit had issues of smell

Not impressed I had originally booked at this hotel because they are pet friendly. As it turns out I did not take my pet. Upon arrival I was met by a very nice desk clerk but she did not look very professional. Oh well, no big deal. Then as we were given our room on the second floor I was informed there is no elevator. I should have packed lighter. The conditioner in the shower was empty, good thing I had some. The toilet paper and kleenex where 1 ply. Things were just cheap. No lotion, 1 tiny bar soap. Then the breakfast. It was edible, the coffee was weak. To the point we asked for extra pods and made coffee in our room. Overall it was disappointing. The staff was kind and courteous and the beds were comfortable. Personally would not stay there again.

It was clean. They were very accommodating for us. The person who checked us in was so friendly and he was always around. We asked if he ever took time off and he said he did but he was there the next morning checking on everything. I love the location, it was close to everything I needed. Only good comments on this hotel from me.

Comforter had some obvious stains and the bathroom had various colored splatter on the walls.

Amazing value. Great room and pool area. Really enjoyed having breakfast to wonderful classical music.
