We checked in to the Ovolo to celebrate our honeymoon in Brisbane. Our room was really spacious and had an Alexa speaker playing music which was great. Bed was large and comfortable.
Problem we encountered with the hotel was that the heavily advertised roof top pool and amenities were closed due to refurbishments which we were disappointed with. No. We weren’t informed at check in and it is listed as an amenity of the hotel, and a factor in us choosing here.
We found a used condom wrapper on check out under the bed which was unhygienic from housekeeping, but at that point we were ready for departure so didn’t complain to the front desk.
Location of the property is surrounded by plenty of eateries and coffee shops, and the attached Kasba restaurant served breakfast which was lovely and we used them for lunch as well. Travel into the CBD is about a 25 minute walk.
