Foshan Lanshan Hotel (Shunde Qinghuiyuan)

Located right on Huagai Road Pedestrian Street, with tons of food options nearby. The hotel facilities are quite new and clean, and the balcony is huge. Breakfast had limited variety, but tasted pretty good. It's really noisy facing the street, with horns blaring until midnight. The biggest complaint is the lack of parking; during Chinese New Year, we had to park a kilometer away. The hotel is close to Qinghui Garden, which is great for visiting early to avoid the crowds.

The base of the floor lamp was covered in dust – a single swipe with my finger left a clear streak. The sofa in the room sagged deeply the moment you sat on it. The large Hisense TV in the room would buffer for 30 seconds after every 30 seconds of playback; I'm surprised no one has ever reported this issue. I stayed in a balcony room on the second floor, which faced the Huagai Pedestrian Street, so it was noisy until 11 PM. At over 300 yuan a night, the only upside was the good location, being close to Qinghui Garden. The hotel facilities are outdated, and both hygiene and service need improvement. That said, there are plenty of local snacks and desserts nearby, like double-skin milk and coconut custard. However, prices aren't low; a portion of mango pomelo sago with double-skin milk was 28 yuan, and a cold mixed fish skin dish was 38 yuan – definitely not cheap.
