The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

Initial thought is the resort is beautiful. Staff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The room was beautiful, modern and spacious. Waterpark itself is okay for me, I've been to better. The spa is really small but I wanted my husband to experience his 1st spa, so for him it was the best and didnt want to leave. The massage therapist was immaculate. Food and drinks were okay. Tried to kayak but motor was down on their boat so couldn't do any of the lake activities per staff just incase someone gets lost they wont be able to come get you. Con of the trip was not knowing when you get there you'll pay additional parking and resort fee plus deposit. No lake activities except fishing at the pier. Overall it was a good 1st time experience there.

We travelled with our young family, 3 kids. As far as convenience we rented an SUV so everything is convenient. The property is beautiful and has everything kids would want. The size of the rooms are exactly what we look for with 3 kids. However, alot of the negative reviews we read were based around room cleanliness and that holds true. The first thing you notice is the size of room, kitchen, view etc. After that everything was pretty much dirty. Carpets, flooring, counters, broken glass in one of the bedrooms etc. Our first trip was to wal mart for supplies for the fridge and cleaning products to get our room to basic condition. After that part we rly had no issues and loved the rest of the property and what it offers. I would still probably stay here again and just come prepared. Not much maid staff on site, and if you call the front desk it will take awhile for someone to get to your room. All they rly do is change your garbages every other day. I would recommend taking whatever you can when you see a maid push cart in a hallway i.e toilet paper, towels, paper towels etc. As stated, will likely consider staying again, but would also consider surrounding areas before committing.

The grounds are beautiful and the pools and water park were great. There is not enough check in staff to handle arrivals and questions efficiently. The common areas (hallways) are in need of repair. Walls are damaged and carpets stained. Our room was nice and large but not well cleaned (stained towels, microwave had not been cleaned)

Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. majority of staff are very friendly and helpful except in the coffee shop/market

Had a 2 day stay in a 3 bdrm/3 bath condo (Rm 3317). The condo was pretty much clean however, there was detergent powder left on the floor in the laundry closet. In the primary bdrm the toilet room had a dried out water bubble run down the wall. The last night there the tv showed no picture. Didnt call to complain/notify because i departed in the early morning hours. Id definitely rebook and take advantage of all offered.

We didn’t have any sheets for the pull out couch. Called 3 times starting at 10:30 pm til 11:45 pm…everytime guest service said they are coming right up. Never came up. Last time we called she said they would check status’my diaghter just fell asleep straight on the mattress with just her blanket she brought. I have pictures. She didn’t sleep well. We bought breakfast items to cook pancakes, eggs and sausage. Well we found in the morning the advertised fully equipped kitchen was not that. There were no pans or oven baking sheets just small pot. The kids and is stuck with breakfast items and disappointed. Let the front desk at checkout know about this experience. Wish it was done there. We were pushing our cart in the parking garage at 10:35ish AM and a truck that was excessively accelerating down the ram from the third floor came very close it hitting me and my family behind us…they had to be going 25-30 down the ramp. Come to find out it was a person from valet. My wife and son brought the luggage cart back and there was the truck parking in the pick up line with the gentlemen in the hat at valet that was driving it. It was a white full size truck with Pennsylvania plates. Unacceptable. This is our 2nd stay at the grove as the first time was 2021 for a week during thanksgiving. We even recommended my brother to stay this trip with us and booked a separate reservation. Not sure this past experience will bring us back…especially the breakfast situation following the other.

We had only booked for a one night stay to try the place out the hotel itself could have been cleaner . Our room was beautiful but felt unclean we had a two bedroom and one of our bedrooms had no electricity to it we had maintenance come and they couldn’t fizz it they said we could move but at 11pm with two small girls that wasn’t and option for us . The room was very hot and couldn’t utilized the outlets for charging . We had to take the alarm with the charging station and leave it in the kitchen to charge . Also as we were going to our car there was vomit on the floor where our car was parked I had to stop my 5 year old from rolling her suitcase into it.
