However, the trade-off is isolation: you’re far from downtown (metro rides or taxis required for sightseeing). The hotel offers shuttles to Pudong Airport (25 mins) and Disney Village, but slots fill fast—reserve early. For context: It’s a 15-minute drive to Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park and a 20-minute taxi to Shanghai Wild Animal Park.

Rooms & Comfort

Rooms are spacious, modern, and quiet, with plush bedding (Signature Four Points beds), blackout curtains, and ergonomic workstations. Families appreciate Disney-themed rooms (available on request) and bunk-bed options. Soundproofing is generally effective, but request a high-floor room facing away from main roads to avoid rare noise disruptions. Bathrooms are clean with rain showers, though water pressure can be inconsistent during peak hours.

The building looks a bit old, but the room’s interior is still nice. The location is very close to Tangqiao Station. The room is quite spacious and clean, and the amenities are complete. Lastly, the front office staff were very helpful, and I loved that they spoke English really well

The location is fantastic! It's right in the heart of Daning, making dining, shopping, and subway access incredibly convenient, all just downstairs. The room was quite clean, and the bed was comfortable. It had all the essentials, so it was perfectly fine for a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were reasonably efficient. However, the hotel's decor looks a bit dated, and the furnishings aren't particularly new. Breakfast was nothing special. Overall, it's a chain hotel with a great location and decent cleanliness. We booked a twin room, and an extra bed and an additional breakfast were added. The room had decent space.

The hotel is located near the Shanghai Exhibition Center, but it isn't within walking distance. Due to heavy traffic and numerous traffic lights, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes by taxi to reach the center. There are no nearby train options, so you're limited to public buses and taxis.

While the hotel is relatively new, the management did not meet my expectations for a Four Points by Sheraton. When I entered the gym, I found dumbbells and used towels scattered around the bench. While I was on the treadmill, a staff member came in to tidy up the area. However, when I approached the bench, he told me to put back the dumbbells on the rack after use, which I would have done without prompting. This interaction felt quite unwelcoming. There was no hand soap in the room toilet. I also noticed a smell of cigarettes in the hallway as soon as I exited the elevator. Although smoking is common in China, even in no-smoking areas, I didn't expect this from a Sheraton hotel. The sound of doors slamming from neighboring rooms was quite disruptive.

On a positive note, the bed is comfortable, and the window view is nice. However, I cannot recommend this hotel to travelers, even those attending exhibitions. There are better options available near the exhibition center at reasonable prices, or you might consider hotels further away since you'll likely be taking taxis.

Overall, it's a decent option. There aren't many great hotels to choose from when visiting Legoland, and this one offers much better value for money compared to the Legoland Hotel. The facilities and breakfast were pretty standard. It's quite convenient to order takeout, and a robot delivers it right to your room. There's a shuttle bus service to and from Legoland; apparently, there are two morning departures to the park and one afternoon return trip. However, I don't think the timings are very well thought out. For instance, the return shuttle departs at 7 PM, which is the same time the park closes. I think they could stagger the times better. Also, I arrived at the hotel late that day, and when I tried to book the shuttle to Legoland for the next day, I was informed it was fully booked, so I couldn't reserve a spot.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Shanghai. I booked a 2-night package deal in advance for 849, which was valid even during the summer holiday and included breakfast for two. Despite being a package deal, the hotel's service was excellent; the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfast spread was generous and filling. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is conveniently located about 6 kilometers from Disneyland, making it easy to get there by taxi or subway. Best of all, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland! This was an amazing perk. Highly recommend!

The hotel environment is very good and the service is also in place. I booked a king-size bed room, which was upgraded upon arrival and also included free breakfast. Thanks to Andy for his service, I will stay here again next time.

The Asian man being the counter at check in was not friendly at all. He also took a long time to check everyone in. There was a long line and only he was working. We were tired and when we went upstairs to our room, the key didn’t work. We had to go back downstairs and wait again, only for the man to tell us he gave us the wrong room number. 
On our last day, the fire alarm went off at 1am while we were sleeping. We called downstairs and no one answered. We evacuated the room only to find out it was a false alarm. There was no announcement. Just one person behind the desk telling people who asked him. The fire department shut down the elevators so we had to wait to go back to our rooms. We got very little sleep after that.

The staffs are really nice and supportive. They provide complimentary luggage storage and check-in or -out is fast. The place is quiet in the night although these are some construction undergoing. I had a very good experience here. The location is also good. It's within walking distance to plaza, cafes and restaurants and the price is reasonable. Strongly recommend this hotel.

I was a little skeptical reading online reviews but my stay was excellent.  Location was excellent, I pretty much walked everywhere.  Subway station is across the street.  Toiletries were of good quality, even makeup wipes were provided!  Wifi signal was strong.  I wanted to give a special shoutout to Monica from front desk.  She was very helpful and ever so friendly.

My husband and I went to spend Christmas in New York, with my son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. Even though we made reservations on different apps, they not only placed us side by side, but also upgraded us to the 17th floor. Everything's good!!

The hotel's location is close to the subway station and easy to get to and from the airport. The hotel is clean, with 1.5-meter-wide twin beds. There are many restaurants nearby, including a Chinese restaurant with delicious Sichuan cuisine. Although the hotel, like some other hotels, does not have toothbrushes, slippers and other supplies, the price of just over 1,000 yuan is acceptable in Manhattan.

I booked this hotel specifically because the description mentioned Chinese-speaking staff. However, upon arrival, there was no one available who could speak Chinese to assist guests, which felt like false advertising. On a positive note, the hotel's location is excellent. It offers direct access to the subway station and is also very close to a major station nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.

My preferred hotel due to the location and the proximity to the airport bus stop. Stayed there for 3 times during the past 2 years and have recommended it to my friends as well.

However, this time it was disappointing. Besides given an early check in, granted by the staff at the front desk, the stay was uncomfortable and left me in doubts.

The rooms were badly maintained. There was dust everywhere when I entered. To my horror, there was a layer of dust on the wall. On the 2nd day, my shower gel had ran out which visibly meant that housekeeping did not top up the bottle after the last stay which god knows was when. Then the battery in the remote for the toilet ran out and I couldn’t flush my toilet. Had to call the front desk 2 times before they dispatched a tech to my room.

On the 3rd night, the lights in the bathroom fused.

I mean how badly are the rooms maintained for me to experienced all these in a short 3 nights stay? This is not a budget hotel and the price charged most definitely warrants higher quality rooms and housekeeping. Unless, the hotel charges premium simply cause of the great location it has and is thus do not need to live up to expectations.

Ok location. Nice room and very clean. Toilet is tiny. Good, well-equipped gym. Elevators are slow which is specifically noticeable during rush hours. Friendly service.

Food in the restaurant of the hotel was good, in varieties, deliciousness and also service. The hotel is well-located near subway and airport shuttle bus stop by the door. I've had a good stay there.
