Holiday Inn Express & Suites Frankenmuth

I would stay here again. The staff was friendly, hotel is clean. The location is great! It’s within walking distance of a lot of things to do. The breakfast was really good.

This hotel is in a prime location and close to dining and shopping areas, but the room was out of date as far as being able to plug in devices( iPhone , watch, iPad etc). The decor is also very old. The place smelled clean, but the lighting made everything look dingy and uninviting. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that had much nicer rooms. This place just needs a facelift so to speak.

Why are hotel beds so high up? The hotel is nice and in a great location. My only issue is that the beds are so high off the floor. As a shorter person I had to literally climb up into the bed. It’s not just this hotel chain either but most hotels even in rooms that are labeled as accessible rooms.

The staff was very friendly. The room was not completely clean. The linens and surfaces were clean, but under the table and counters had not been swept.

Loved how we could just walk into town and explore without having to figure out parking. The breakfast was pretty good.
