Flemings Hotel Frankfurt Main-Riverside

Good hotel, rooms are spacious, personal is nice and friendly. Food is very nice. Lack of amenities but great location. Considering price/quality highly recommended.

I booked online king plus, around 25 m square but I think it’s not real. upon checking in on hotel, self check in only 2 twin beds reserved to their system, after verification from front desk assistant, I was transferred to bigger bed, not sure if really king size but atleast a double bed. I find the shower room weird being in the middle room, it’s first time to have, I think it’s romantic if couple traveler, then you can see your partner trough glass. The room is clean, toilet is decent. Breakfast is good to have for 18€.  It was a quite comfortable stay.

I was frustrated to discover that the water supply was shut off from noon to 3 PM for maintenance—something the staff failed to mention at check-in. After a long flight, I couldn’t even wash my hands or take a shower, which was extremely inconvenient. To make matters worse, the staff were unprofessional when I tried to take a bottle of water from the fridge. A tall staff with curly hair at the counter rudely informed me that I was only allowed one bottle—even though my room was booked for two people. His reasoning was absurd: he claimed that if the booking had been for one person, I would only be entitled to one bottle, so the rule couldn’t be adjusted. This inflexible and illogical policy was delivered in a condescending manner, and he said I would need to “ask the staff for permission” for anything beyond that. A simple, polite explanation would have sufficed, but instead, the interaction felt needlessly hostile. The lack of communication and consistently poor customer service made my stay unpleasant. The staff clearly need better training in basic hospitality and common sense. I won’t be staying at this hotel again—guests deserve respect and reasonable accommodations.

Second booking, want to stay one more night in this hotel. Very good, especially enjoyable with the Sauna, which is free of charge.
