Absolutely fabulous location. Close to shops & restaurants.
The chalet had everything we needed for an excellent stay. Spotlessly clean, wonderful bed, good shower.
Full kitchen, TV & comfortable furniture to relax.
We would highly recommend 5*

A beautiful area just outside of Franz Josef. It's nearby the road, so you may get some traffic noise. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful night there. We could see the milky way at night!
We had a studio, so no kitchen but a microwave was available. There's a laundry as well. Wifi was good.
The manager was very friendly and allowed us to fill out campervan with water.

There are two issues, one is hygiene and the other is environment. I could hardly sleep that night. I will give it three points. The heavy rain hit the wooden house and the noise was very loud. There was also a toilet seat cover. When I entered the door and opened it, I found traces of dried urine. I gave it one point.

The bathroom is small and the sink is even smaller, which makes it inconvenient to use. The room/living room is quite spacious and the soundproofing is pretty good at night. It's about a five-minute drive from the town of Franz Josef. You can't walk there, but it's convenient!
The front desk can speak Chinese, introduces the attractions very kindly, and even gives you a bottle of fresh milk🐮!

The accommodations were fine, my wife and I booked a 2 bedroom cabin for one night. We had a friend traveling with us as well. When booking a 2 bedroom cabin I think most people would assume that would mean 2-4 people staying in the room. Upon check in we were charged an additional $50 for the third person. So in my mind they made an additional $50 on us for the use of one additional bath towel. A bit ridiculous considering we were the only guests for the entire night. There are plenty of other options around Franz.
