The Federal Boutique Hotel

We attended the Latino event last night, it was okay, miserable staff and the food was below par, however the worst of the night was the 6 to 8 bored supposedly security guards or whatever they’re called! Witnessed a young man been thrown to the floor pinned down for no good reason at all, we didn’t see any reason at all why this would happen!!?! Absolutely appalling and my wife felt quite traumatised after witnessing this!! There was no need at all, they obviously wanted to make their presence felt otherwise it would be a waste of money for the establishment. This security company needs investigating and this definitely is the pits of a pub, never ever again. I will be letting everybody know how bad it really is!

We spend 3 nights at the hotel, nothing wrong but nothing special, boutique hotel….. anyway we had to wait for the room but we got a nice big room far away from the noise from the bar, no fridge but they was one located in the tea room….. I think a fridge in the room is a need! Hotel bar nice we didn’t use the restaurant but it look nice, we had a drink one night! Situated not far away from the train station and from Rottnest island boat.

This 'THING PLACE' has ever improved. The male toilet is foul - and has been for some time. There's an indicator. GOUGING! To charge the equivalent of $389 per 24 bottle carton, for a 330ml bottle of spirits & coke - is how this awful place treats you. CLEAN THE PLACE!

This is not a boutique hotel and should not be advertising itself as such. The rooms are grubby , the separate bathrooms are outdated and in need of a good scrub ! Ear plugs on the night stand says it all. Booked 2 nights stayed 1 . Disappointing .

Be careful if you go here peeps. The bouncers have a tendency to attack innocent patrons. My son was physically assaulted by a low life bouncer “outside the premises” and out of CCTV view a couple of weeks ago and last night another innocent 20 year old was attacked inside the venue at closing time waiting for his girlfriend who was in the toilet for no reason at all. Warning - low life bouncer scum employed by this venue. Stay away !!

They give you earplugs to sleep. It’s a pub and they hosted a party in the function room below the accommodation with noise at over 80 decibels. It’s impossible to sleep. I have stayed any many pubs but never have I experienced this. I contacted the pub directly via email after my stay to voice my complaint and 2 weeks later I have not received a reply. I had no intention of bagging them but obviously they don’t care, so it’s best to let everyone know how inconsiderate they are of customers. I can rate this the worst accommodation in Fremantle

There was a 21st birthday party with a DJ being held directly below our room. The noise level was over 80 decibels in our room and didn’t stop until midnight. We had an early morning and needed to get an early nights’ sleep. The should not be booking out rooms when there are functions that will affect the noise levels in the rooms. Will not be staying there again.

Was looking for a Sunday roast and they delivered. Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, roast veg & peas. Large meal, alright price $25. Delicious, thoroughly recommend. A few dining areas to choose from. Inside near the bar, which is old style pub feel. In the atrium or in the beer garden.

Room were clean but if you want to sleep then no. The walls are paper thin, and when you walk in there is ear plugs on the bed side tables. Showers are ok but the water has to run for about 5 minutes to get any sort of hot water. We had been out and went back to listen to the DJ and have a couple of drinks. Security let us in and spike to us know worries. The young guy at the bar asked how many we had had and wouldn’t serve us. The young girl walking down the side if the bar had the wall holding her up and walked up and the same guy served her. This isn’t the first time we have heard this. Overall Crap bar service out the back
