You should definitely book a room on the sunset side to enjoy the views of yachts and the blue ocean. We booked a sunrise room, but it was separated from the sea by a road, so the view wasn't great. Parking costs 15 AUD per day. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are on the ground floor, while the two bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. This meant going up and down a lot, which was a bit inconvenient. The shower pressure was low, and there weren't enough trash cans, but thankfully we brought extra trash bags. Remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, as the facilities are a bit dated but still clean. It's a convenient 10-minute walk to Pier B. It can get quite windy and chilly in the mornings and evenings. The surrounding restaurants are all pretty good.

This duplex apartment, with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a living room downstairs, was really nice and quite new. It was definitely the best accommodation we stayed in around the AU$1500 mark in Australia. In the evening, you can take a short walk to see an amazing sunset! Plus, there's a beach to enjoy, and places to eat nearby.

This was by far the most comfortable hotel during my trip to Western Australia. I originally booked two nights and thought it might be a waste of time, planning to leave a day earlier. However, after checking in, I absolutely didn't want to leave! The kitchen facilities in the room were excellent, and I spent two wonderful nights there. Especially enjoying breakfast on the small balcony overlooking the sea in the morning – it was simply idyllic!

Great location, offering peace and quiet right by the harbor with beautiful views. It's a two-bedroom, two-bathroom setup, perfect for two couples. The duplex structure was a bit inconvenient; both bedrooms are upstairs, and hauling luggage up was a bit tiring. The bedrooms themselves were quite small – barely enough space to open two suitcases. However, the living room is spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Having a separate washer and dryer made laundry and cooking very comfortable. It’s within walking distance to restaurants like Kallis, and we also walked about a kilometer to B Shed pier to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island, which was super convenient.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Our room was spotless, spacious, and bright. The kitchen facilities, including an oven, were very convenient for preparing our own meals. We also enjoyed a very quiet night's sleep. The only minor inconvenience is the walk from Fremantle train station, which is quite a distance, making it less ideal if you're arriving with luggage.
