Travelodge by Wyndham Fresno Convention Center Area

Late night check in was easy and fast. Rooms were clean. Wore headphones to minimize the noise coming from room above. Parking spaces are very narrow. I have a compact car and barely fit in between a lot full of SUVs.

Nice, neat and affordable. Close to Fresno Community hospital. Nothing fancy but everything we needed.

Regular Customer They put me Ina weird room at the end had no windows, no desk chair, shelf was broken in bathroom. Only had windows up high. I come here often and would expect better service

Weird room layout The layout of this motel room was very weird: the toilet and shower were in the bathroom, but the sink back in the bedroom - but, then, the towels were back in the bathroom, with no towel rack by the sink. So, to use the toilet you'd have to walk into the bathroom, then back to the bedroom, then back to the bathroom, then back to the bedroom. This didn't seem to have been thought through at all: the soap dispensers weren't over the sink, but off to the side, so you'd risk dripping soap onto your bedroom floor (again, with the towels back in the other room). The walk-in shower had barely any lip and was built on a slant, so the water would stream across half the bathroom; I had to use all my towels to mop up the water from the floor. Overall the room had a barren feel, with no decorations except a broken mirror. The bathroom especially had a bit of a prison cell vibe.

ok hotel in the area OK stay ,great location! The hotel itself is OK nice rooms and a somewhat friendly staff. The rooms have all your basic comforts for a one or two nights stay. Right downtown near the Fresno grizzlies baseball park, but not much else around. Most of the staff is pretty good, very basic check-in and they didn't really seem to care. They just gave you your room key and that was it. Only one problem was, that I had to do not disturb sign on my door when I left in the morning, and when I came back, my room was clean and the sign was removed from my front door. I had some valuable items that I didn't want anybody in the room during the day and they came in anyways. Second issue, was there is a sign in your room that says if you want to use the pool, get a towel from the front desk do not use your room towels, but when I went to ask at the front desk, the lady seem bothered that I was asking and drilled me if I was staying there, even though I had my key in my hand. There wasn't anything too bad that would stop me from coming back to this hotel, great location for your needs. Nice pool area, and not a lot of street noise!
