Pleasant place to visit. Couples can have great time together

Superb location in the country. The Shepherds hut was warm and cosy and came with tea coffee hot chocolate and a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Microwave was great for warming up my late super Highly recommended

We take our touring caravan here most years even though it’s only half an hour from home. Hannah and Debs have made this place so lovely can’t fault anything. Never stayed in the Shepherds huts or the apartment but seen inside and they are super. Met the new (to us) Warden and his Wife this time and what a super friendly couple they are , really helpful and good to have on hand in case of any difficulties. Prices are excellent and backed up with great facilities. Site is tranquil and access to the river for walks or canoeing. Shhhh don’t tell anyone in case it gets too popular.

We were a family group of 15, two families camping, and 3 families in the Shepherd huts. Fri to Mon. What a fantastic time we had. The people running it could not have been more friendly or helpful. The site is spotless with so many lovely touches. Just 2 mins from the river bu safety first there was a code locked gate to keep children safe. We had our own paddle boards and kayak but appreantly you can hire. 8 of the family made their way to march via the river while the older one s went by car and all met up at the pub. The site had a basket ball net, gorgeous ice creams, fire pits and wood to buy. A separate lovely area for families or just the children to gather to sit and chat, eat or play games. Spotless toilets and shower rooms. We had the benefit of the Pizza van arriving on the Friday, really recommend. Tesco's superstore, Aldi, etc all close by (short drive) We loved it so much we have booked up again for next year Thank you so very much from the Gent/ Treagus family xx

Brilliant camp site near the river so we could Paddle board with ease! Andy very knowledgable and accommodating to our queries. Pizzas and breakfast v good too. Only downside we found was just x2 loos/showers other than that we’ll be back!

A range of accommodation to suit everyone. The camping area is immaculate. The Shepards huts are wonderful and cosy. Andy and the staff are brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help everyone ! The activities on the river are also amazing. Thanks See you in again soon
