Gorgeous! Warm, bright and clean rooms. Friendly reception. Very good breakfast. Loved the balcony on each room. Washing service provided. Would love to have been warm enough to try the pool. Minibar with a lovely selection. Breakfast was just perfect. Good quality. Enjoyed the reflexology massage. Loved that the heating was on and flowers in vases. Would love to spend longer here.

This place was amazing. So modern and contemporary. The staff were as helpful. The rooms were brill with a lovely balcony as well. There was a paddling pool in the forecourt of the hotel and let me tell you it was great to let the feet cool off after a long day walking. The bar was self service so you opened a beer and wrote your room number on the sheet and paid on check out. I would love to visit this hotel again.

After a long day's walking, it was lovely to walk into this chic, modern hotel and be offered a cold bottle of water. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. My room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the small deck overlooking the garden and pool. Breakfast was delicious as well.

So we supposed to check in to this Hotel today June 28 2022, Yesterday my wife tested positive to COVID. We contact the hotel to cancel our arrival for the safety of everyone that are checking in today, and they refuse to cancel the hotel charge (it after the cancellation date). We may have no choice but to still checking in today, please be aware. We feel the obligation to notify. We are hoping the hotel will understand the responsibility they have for you how arrived today there. Our hotel in Castrojeriz provided us a room to be insulated for the 5 days are protocol required by any health department all over the world. However it’s sims like Eco hotel Dona Mayer is refusing to except this. If they will not cancel our reservation please be aware we will check in. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hoping for a smarter decision by the property management to make sure everyone is safe. Yes it’s more about the economical financial in this hotel the eco system and guest health. If we need to check in I believe the hotel won’t be safe for the next 1-5 days and the Covid virus will stay there way after we gone. Stay safe and Boen Camino.

Arrived after a long hot day walking so it was great to have a cold welcome drink. There is a lovely sitting area outside as well as a small plunge pool. Room was very nice with a small balcony. Air conditioning is turned off by the hotel at night, so be sure to cool your room during the day. We had booked half -board, but the hotel didn’t serve evening meals and we had to eat elsewhere, which was a shame as the restaurant in the hotel is really nice.

We stayed here one night while hiking the Camino. Of the 12 hotels we have stayed in so far this trip, this was the best! Clean comfortable rooms, relaxing atmosphere, reflexology massage was available and they will do a load of laundry for 5 euros. Breakfast was amazing as well, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, etc. Would definitely stay here again!
