Super Hotel Shonan Fujisawaeki Minamiguchi

This hotel is super close to JR Fujisawa Station (about a 7-8 minute walk from the South Exit), and it's easy to find using a map. It's also right next to the Enoden Fujisawa Station, which makes getting to Enoshima and several popular Instagrammable spots incredibly convenient! We booked this hotel in Fujisawa because we were planning to see the Atami fireworks on July 10th and didn't want to stay in Kamakura. The transport links are fantastic. The room we booked was about 12 square meters, so a bit small, but it was perfectly clean and tidy. The lobby has a self-service amenities area, which is handy for guests to pick and choose what they need. Plus, there's a small hot spring – it's really great to soak in after a day of sightseeing. The area around the hotel is packed with restaurants, some of which are open until midnight. It's awesome to have so many food options on the way back after a day out!

The hot spring might be small, but it was really nice to be able to relax in it! It's also less than a 5-minute walk from Fujisawa Station, which was super convenient. You can take the Enoden line from Kamakura while sightseeing, and it's just one bus ride to the Great Buddha of Kamakura. The room was a bit small, but the value for money was excellent! Breakfast was delicious too!
