The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka

The room type this time was great, and the breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The complimentary birthday cake was a bit too sweet, haha. The service attitude is excellent, and the cleaning is spotless. Every time I come to Fukuoka, I choose The Ritz.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Tenjin, close to nearby malls and Ohori Park. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but totally manageable. Rooms start from the 19th floor, so even the basic rooms have decent views. My only minor complaint is that the water pressure for the shower felt a bit low, and the water temperature was a bit unstable, which was odd for a hotel that isn't particularly high-rise – I wouldn't expect such an issue. Overall, the facilities are very well-maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable, meeting high standards. The service is the ultimate Japanese standard; every staff member greets you with a smile and enthusiasm, bowing 90 degrees when you arrive and depart. A petite Japanese woman at the front desk, always smiling, left a particularly deep impression on me – it's a shame I didn't catch her name. The 24th-floor bar offers unbeatable night views. It was quite crowded, with the outdoor seating fully booked. I was able to leave my room number and wait in my room until a table was ready, which was convenient. Nicholas, one of the reception staff at The Bay, seemed to have a French accent? I'm not sure if he's French, but he was incredibly warm and humorous, leaving a great impression. Overall, it was a truly excellent experience! I highly recommend staying here when visiting Fukuoka.

A perfect hotel with unexpectedly excellent service! From the lobby manager to the bar manager, everyone was always there when you needed them. The food was carefully prepared, and the non-slip flooring in the guest bathroom was impeccable. The marble on the walls looked like a painting, very tasteful. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that the hairdryer is a bit big and heavy, and the body lotion the hotel uses is too fragrant. Other than that, it's definitely the top choice hotel for value for money!
