Grand Hyatt Fukuoka

This is a must-stay hotel when you visit Fukuoka! It's incredibly convenient with great transport links. There's a food court downstairs, and you can shop till you drop at Canal City, which is also right downstairs. The swimming pool is fantastic, and they even have a massage pool – it's absolutely amazing!

The facilities were very old. The first room had a noisy fan, so I asked the front desk to change rooms. The staff member wasn't happy and didn't seem to think the noise was a big deal, but after I got to the new room and they realized the difference, they started smiling and apologizing. In the second room, the toilet kept making a long, continuous noise after flushing, but I was in a hurry to leave, so I just dealt with it. The location wasn't great either. Although it's inside Canal City Hakata, the shopping options are far fewer than in Tenjin, and it's not right next to Hakata Station. I reluctantly stayed for one night and then quickly checked out.

This trip to Fukuoka, staying at the Grand Hyatt was a big plus for its location. It's just a 1-minute walk from the Kushida Shrine Station subway, and close to Gion Station and Hakata Station. Taking the subway to Fukuoka Airport, Tenjin, Dazaifu, and Itoshima is super convenient. Canal City and Kushida Shrine are also within walking distance. The hotel has a trendy, minimalist urban style. The public areas are well-designed, and it even has its own large public bath and sauna – perfect for unwinding after a long day of walking. The rooms are clean and tidy, with thoughtful storage solutions, comfortable bedding, and all the essential amenities. ✅ Practical Experience: ▪️ Check-out is at 12:00. You can store your luggage for free after check-out, which is great for hassle-free shopping. The 24-hour front desk service is very friendly. ▪️ There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab food or essentials. ▪️ Direct subway access to the airport means no stress when catching your flight. A small note: Japanese hotel rooms aren't huge, but this is typical for city hotels in Japan. Overall, it's a great choice for those visiting Fukuoka for sightseeing and shopping. Its excellent transportation links make getting around incredibly efficient.

The location is incredibly convenient and just amazing! It's even walkable to the airport, though I still opted for a taxi. All the shopping, dining, and attractions are within a 20-minute walk.

This hotel is super convenient! It's just one subway stop away from both Hakata Station and Tenjin, and right next to Canal City Hakata. There's a Don Quijote about a ten-minute walk away, and a Family Mart right downstairs. The service at the hotel was excellent; someone helped me with my luggage as soon as I arrived. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Canal City, so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. The service is fantastic, and everyone is very friendly. The bathroom has great water pressure, making for a very enjoyable bath experience.
