The triple room has twin beds plus a sofa bed, which is enough for three people. It's right by a bustling road. Coincidentally, it was election day in Japan, and when I opened the window, I could see a politician waving at me. Toyoko Inn only offers breakfast. Although the selection isn't huge, it's very clean and a typical Japanese breakfast. About 500 meters away, on the fourth floor of the Yodobashi Camera store, there's a supermarket where you can buy lots of things. Japanese rice is really expensive though!

A quick stay hotel. No frills. Good enough for the price and location. Very small rooms. We only stayed for a night as our flight was early morning so the location of the hotel.was perfect as it was very near Hakata station.

My husband and I booked Toyo Hotel because of the location AND it was the only one at the time that had 2 double beds as bedding option whereas nearby hotels had only offered single, and it was one of the BEST decisions we’ve made for this trip! Apart from the room and bedding option being great, the location is too! It’s surrounded by Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson, PLUS a 24 hours pharmacy/cosmetics place that offers tax free. The walk to Hakata Station is relatively flat and easy, and everything is there! The JR trains, subway and bus, so whichever transport you need, Hakata makes it easy to go around. I would recommend riding the Airport Bus instead of the subway to get to this hotel cause it’s a straight 20 mins from international airport to Hakata station, unlike subway where you have to take a shuttle from International Airport to Domestic, then go down, lots of lugging around.

I chose this hotel because it's close to Riboudou Station, and it was indeed very convenient. With plenty of shopping and dining options both inside and outside the station area, my stay was excellent. The room was a bit small, but the staff provided great service.

Location: The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a 5-8 minute walk from Hakata Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Tenjin or other parts of Kyushu. Hakata Station itself offers a wide array of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets; I even managed to buy some Nunu chicken there! There's a FamilyMart right across from the hotel and a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite. In the evenings, a takoyaki stand even sets up near the 7-Eleven, so you'll never have to worry about going hungry! Room Comfort: The air conditioning was excellent, and the room was just the right size for a solo traveler. The small window provided good ventilation. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.
