Hotel Nikko Fukuoka

Every time I visit Fukuoka, I stay here. It's super convenient, just across the street from Hakata Station. The rooms are quite spacious, the bedding is excellent, and the service is top-notch. From check-in to housekeeping, and even calling a taxi when checking out, they're always accommodating. I've given them good reviews many times, so I won't elaborate too much, but I do have two suggestions for improvement: 1. The breakfast is truly too simple. The main issue is that in all the times I've stayed here, the breakfast has been almost identical with no changes whatsoever. It got to the point where I didn't even want to eat it on my last day. 2. I wish the rooms had body lotion. Why do they provide makeup remover, face wash, and skincare products, but no body lotion or hand cream? I don't understand. Ultimately, if the breakfast could be varied and offer more options, I would gladly continue staying here.

Got an upgraded room, which was very spacious. The hotel's decor has a classic, 'old money' vibe – very vintage and exceptionally clean. It's super close to Hakata Station, with easy access to all bus and subway lines, making getting around a breeze.

Hotel Nikko Fukuoka is definitely the top choice for transfers in Kyushu! Its location is unparalleled, directly connected to JR Hakata Station via an underground passage, just a 3-minute walk away. This makes it incredibly convenient for taking the Shinkansen to Kokura, Kumamoto, and Beppu, and you don't have to worry about rain when traveling with luggage. The guest rooms are exceptionally spacious for a Japanese hotel, with elegant and tasteful decor, and are well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable, and the amenities are of outstanding quality. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, balancing both Japanese and Western dishes, with the freshly made omelets being a standout feature where you can savor local Kyushu ingredients. The hotel also boasts several restaurants, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. The staff are professional and courteous, providing meticulous and attentive service. Whether arriving in Fukuoka or using it as a transfer point for a Kyushu trip, the stay is consistently comfortable and reassuring. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

The hotel is conveniently located right opposite Hakata Station, with easy access both above and below ground. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms have clearly been renovated with excellent facilities. The bed is very comfortable and the room itself is quite large. They provide facial cleanser, shower gel, shampoo, and the charging cables are compatible with current domestic mobile phones. Turn right upon exiting the hotel, go down to the subway, and Ichiran Ramen is just a short walk away. This hotel offers exceptional value for money.
