★★★ 8.9 (1,056 reviews)

"I have reviewed this hotel previously in my earlier review and I would just want to state that the weekdays rate is much cheaper than the weekend rates a lot. The reason I came back to this hotel after my weekend stays earlier was due to their complimentary luggage storage for me while I was away in Kitakyushu for 2 nights. To save the hassle, I decided to stay back at this same hotel and store one of my luggage with them. Appreciate the hotel for such complimentary storage and also their assistance in calling the taxi for me to Hakata station and airport. Just be reminded to explain your request in Japanese as the staffs may not understand your request if you have similar request like mine and ensure you have made the booking and payment for your next stay or else they may decline your request as they cant locate your booking confirmation with the hotel."

The Grand Residence Hotel Hakata

The Grand Residence Hotel Hakata

📍 4 Chome-4-12 Higashihie, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka
★★★★ 8.3 (499 reviews)

"This is a guesthouse located in an apartment building. The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. It's not far from Higashi-Hie subway station, within walking distance. It's also close to the airport, a taxi ride costs less than 2000 JPY. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, so the location is pretty convenient. There are two downsides, though: first, the soundproofing isn't great, and second, cigarette smoke drifts in from other rooms."

Hakata Nakasu Washington Hotel Plaza

📍 2 Chome-8-28 Nakasu, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka
★★★ 8.5 (536 reviews)

"This hotel is very well located, on the corner of Nakasu, the nightlife district of Fukuoka. It is within short walking distance from Kushida Shrine, Fukuoka's main mall with lots of restaurants and shops, Canal City Hakata, and the Nakasu Food Stalls Street, where you can grab delicious street food. The hotel is also directly next to a canal. The amenities are very good, again, mostly being available in the lobby. The room is very nice, larger than most in Japan. Overall, a very pleasant hotel that is centrally located."

Heiwadai Hotel 5 Hotels in Fukuoka

"I stayed only one night after my flight from Okinawa but the hotel is very conveniently located. There is a direct subway from the airport, many things to see by walking distance around the hotel and the city center is also very close by subway. I found the room very clean, quite spacious as well! The only thing I would do differently is the breakfast which did not really win my heart. It was okay but I would note take it again :) apart from that I would definitely stay again!"

HOTEL WBF GRANDE HAKATA Hotels in Fukuoka

HOTEL WBF GRANDE HAKATA

"This hotel was the cheapest I can find for the Saturday stay at hakata, for 14kjpy/night w/o breakfast w twin bed. I was quite shocked when entering see luggages on the heavy duty shelf in open space. I did not know how to rate the service since it was self check in/out. Self-Check in/out was quite smooth if u are literate. Quite a distance maybe 10mins walk to hakata station but we always had a bus ride/taxi. This hotel has onsen which i never use it, but according to my partner it was packed at night. Free flow of drinks. The room was clean but the shower water was quite unstable sometimes. Cleaner will clean trash but never replace teabags."

Reisenkaku Hotel Kawabata Hotels in Fukuoka

Reisenkaku Hotel Kawabata

"I stored luggage at counter when I check in because it was too early at time. When I get back to hotel at night, the staff had already placed my luggage in my room. That's very helpful. Location is quite convenient, it's between two train station, but just short walk like 5 to 10 min to get to either one. There is nice ramen place around the corner of the hotel."

Hotel Il Palazzo ★★★★
"It’s between 2 subway line. Around 15 mins walk with luggage. Everything was good, the only thing is that the lounge service. We booked because it shown free drinks and snacks all day but when we arrived, then found out the lounge service only available 5-7pm daily as they changed their rules and regulation. Overall the room is clean and spacious"

THE GATE HOTEL FUKUOKA by HULIC ★★★★
"The location is just above Tenjin Subway Exit 5 with a small entrance at both B1 and 1 floor, the reception floor is at 19/F with balcony for sunrise and sunset view. The standard room is typically small with window bust no dressing table. The bath tub and shower is good.  There is a Gym and ice maker at 10/F."

"We stayed in a twin room. Size of the room was big for the Japanese standard. We could easily accomodate 2 medium size luggage. It has a long desk and 2 chairs. Amenities are available for self service at the front desk. Location is good. In the middle of two stations and walking distance to many places. There was a 7-11 very close so is very convenient. Many restaurants around."

"Really love the hotel, even from balcony can see plane park and the front door has a river view. Super recommended🫶🏻👍🏻 Better to pre-check in rather than check in on the site. Honestly it’s easy to check in if you just read the instructions clearly. Definitely will come back."

Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Gion ★★★★
"This hotel is excellent for its buffet breakfast selection with many quality Japanese food items as well as it’s very nice rooftop onsen with an open air area, so relaxing. It’s bathroom amenities are also very good quality. Rooms are all mainly small standard Japanese hotel size between 17 -21 sqm. Location is about 800m walking to Hakata station but there are other subways located closer. Will choose to return and stay here again."

"The location is great! It is close to the subway station and near Naka River. You can walk to Yatai Zone in a short distance. It is also near Donki, MatsuKiyo, Kawabata Shopping Street and Ichiran Ramen Original Store. The hotel has a luxury design. The room is cozy. Even though it is 12 sq.m., I can still unpack my 28-inch luggage by moving the chair aside. There are pajamas provided. Great facilities overall, but the water temperature was a not that hot (I expected it to be hotter). You can drop your luggage at the hotel. You can borrow an umbrella. Free beer provided in the evening at the bar. The staff is very nice, very welcoming and very helpful."
