土湯温泉に行ったことがありましたがこちらの温泉はさらに奥まったところにあります。冬は積雪圧接で交通事情が宿までのアクセスが一筋縄ではいかず慣れない雪道苦労しました。安達太良山の北麓に位置するこの宿周辺はとにかく雪深いので冬装備必須です。 標高の高い場所にあるため開けた場所からは福島の街並みを一望することでができました。 お目当ての温泉ですがいい感じの白い濁り湯。 もちろん源泉かけながし。露天風呂では雪見風呂としゃれ込むことができました。 氷点下の中入る雪見風呂は湯舟に入るまでがとにかく大変。 足元が凍ているので滑らないように注意も必要です。 料理は山の幸がメインで健康によさげなメニューが多かった印象です。 福島駅から送迎もやっているとのことなので次回利用時は無難に送迎を利用したいと思います。
