This log home is situated on the bank of the world famous Kenai River; only 20 steps will get you from the front door to the private fishing dock. You can catch sockeye, king and silver salmon; even some rainbow trout. There is a fish cleaning station as well as a vacuum sealer ( bags not provided ) and a large deep freezer for your catch of the day. The property is located approximately 2 ½ miles from Fred Meyer in downtown Soldotna. All amenities are included – linens, utensils, fully furnished living room, washer/dryer. The main house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs' master bedroom has 1 queen bed , 1 full bed and 1 twin bed and downstairs bedroom has 1 queen and 1 twin bed. Master bath has a jetted tub to relax in after those days spent on the river. It has a lounge, dining room and fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Cleaning of the house is provided for any extended stays. The only problem the property has is the guests must bring their own toothbrush and will not want to leave once they arrive. We rent this home to visitors during the summer months but also have long term lease options available for a special rate. Soldotna is the perfect location for your Alaskan adventure.
