Landescape Furnas

Location: The hotel is situated in a serene and peaceful location, yet it is within walking distance of Furnas town and several attractions. Guests appreciated the proximity to nature and the quiet atmosphere, which made it feel like a personal retreat.

A very nice parcel of land and "dwell home" type of architecture -Minimalist Scandinavian. Overall it was a very nice stay. Comfortable bed, nice set up of room and acceptable furnishings. A few practicality kinks: one blackout screen in front was not working or available. kitchenware was worn, scratched pots, and placement of all was very high in the cabinets, making it awkward to get things. Very small sink, but workable. Fresh baked rolls in the morning were a treat! A huge coffee/espresso machine; however, it did not make very good espresso with the packaged grinds. Eggs, cheese and ham were fine for breakfast. The eggs were actually delicious!. Some apples and oranges in a bowl were nice and the complimentary wine was a nice touch. I would opt to have local pineapple in the room in lieu of the apples though. the fruit at a local market I went to was delish! The pool was nice, but not heated for January; however, I think that may change as owner had mentioned. Overall, well run, beautiful and a pleasant stay.

Landescape Furnas is a wonderful place to stay. It’s so quiet and relaxing. The garden is beautiful and full of vibrant plants, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We loved the Jacuzzi and pool area. There is also a sauna, steam bath and workout equipment. The rooms are cozy and well-decorated, fitting perfectly with the natural surroundings. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure you have a great stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in nature. Don’t miss the private park nearby which you can access from the property (it’s connected). It was planned & designed by António Borges.
