HOLLICK HOTEL

For our summer escape to Northeast China, we dedicated a significant portion of our trip to Changbai Mountain. We booked a resort for three nights, and after much deliberation between Wanda and Huamei, we settled on the Huamei Holic Hotel. The room was very spacious with two bathrooms, though only one set of toiletries was provided. The entire room had floor heating, but in the summer, only the bedroom had air conditioning, not the living room – thankfully, it wasn't too hot. It also came with a microwave and washing machine, which was very convenient for a longer stay. They offered many complimentary perks, so many that we couldn't experience them all during our three-night stay. The most impressive was probably the 'Earth Pulse' audio-visual concert, which happened to coincide with our visit. The parade, iron flower show, and flying phoenix performances were all quite lively. The only downsides were the limited dining options and slightly high prices. Also, the shuttle bus system was a bit frustrating. Although it ran every 15 minutes, it had different routes and stops, and when it was busy, you often couldn't get on the first one.

Unexpectedly clean, and they even kindly upgraded my room. The front desk lady explained everything in detail. Had a great stay! It's also convenient for dining with the commercial street nearby. The Club Med hot springs were remarkable; a wonderful soak followed by a good night's sleep – so relaxing!

The room is very spacious, and the living room is huge. The room benefits are extensive, with many complimentary activities included. The entire resort offers a lot of evening entertainment. The breakfast at Magpie Bridge Restaurant has a wide variety of delicious dishes.

Fantastic room with a beautiful view. The room was spacious, much quieter than Wanda, and felt more like a proper vacation. The only downsides were the long wait to check in, almost until 4 PM, and the somewhat remote location, which meant fewer food delivery options. Dining and drinks were mainly available on the commercial street.

The hotel's front desk service was mediocre and needs improvement. All the staff were male, and they didn't come across as very gentlemanly. The hotel's hygiene and breakfast were poor, with flies everywhere. I hope they make significant improvements. The resort's environment itself was decent, but I might consider staying at a different hotel next time.

Perhaps it was peak season, as there were many guests, and the service was quite mediocre. The shuttle bus driver even cursed, which really lowered the hotel's standards. The room wasn't clean, with dust all over the floor. Hope for improvement.

The room was spacious with a great view from the window. Breakfast was delicious, and the front desk staff were incredibly nice and gentle. The young man who served us was super good and handsome too!

Huge thanks to Ajian at the front desk for his outstanding service, even before we checked in! Because rooms were tight, I had to book two different room types for my two-night stay. Ajian proactively helped arrange an upgrade so we could stay in the same room for both nights, saving us the hassle of switching rooms and so much time. He definitely deserves a shout-out! Ajian also organized transfers to and from the high-speed train station, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's activities were so plentiful, we couldn't even try them all in two nights. It definitely made up for missing out on seeing Tianchi Lake. We'll definitely be back to stay again next time!

Extremely satisfied! The family room was a spacious 80 square meters. There's a commercial street right downstairs, but it wasn't noisy at all. We took the kids to play during the day and could come back to enjoy the hot springs. Great food, great stay. Our top choice for a vacation!
