Most affordable stay nearest to the Chang Bai Shan West Slope Tourist centre and they accept foreign guests too. Very friendly female boss, easy going, always ready to offer tips on how to go around. It is from her that I learnt that the pick up point for the long distance bus to Chang Chun is just opposite the Ou Ya shopping mall. They even have a washing machine for guests to use, detergent provided too. Stayed 2 nights there.
For the long distance bus, scan the QR code on the banner outside their office to install the WeChat mini program. When purchasing tickets, if you're not from China, just key in 16 random digits for ID and 11 random digits for phone number. They only accept booking via the app. Dunno why the 8am bus is cheaper than the 7am bus. Bus stops at the World Sculpture Park in Changchun.
