Juchunyuan Hotel (Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang)

Excellent location, close to shopping ***** and restaurants. Very quiet area. Staff are very friendly. I will definitely be their return customer.

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building in the San Fang Qi Xiang neighborhood. The room is cozy and clean, the bed is firm but comfortable. The room in reality is smaller than in the pictures, but still is equipped with everything needed. The bathroom is modern and neat. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is perfect, easy to reach and close to many interesting spots as well as good restaurants. Overall it has been a pleasure and I would come back again when in Fuzhou.

The hotel looks better on the pictures than in reality. We booked a room in the Minguo courtyard to experience the Republic of China extension but instead we were put in a more recent and not charming building. Hotel staff didn’t speak English so we didn’t try asking for the room in the courtyard that we booked as changing rooms would mean climbing down 4 floors with our luggage and waste time explaining with translator app. Room was small, enough for a night or if you don’t want to spend time at the hotel. Mattress was pretty hard. Shower and towels not perfectly clean. One can tell that the towels are quite old. There was no breakfast and no possibility to add it despite a large room available for it. There is also space to have tea but no one was working there. Front part and first 2 courtyards of the hotel look nice. Staff was polite. Our luggages were carried up. Location is good in the touristic rebuilt-ancient neighborhood. Convenient for a night but will not go again.

Check in was quick and easy at this hotel. The front desk staff was quite helpful, willing to answer many questions, and graciously modified my reservation. The room was small - as expected - quiet, and comfortable. It’s located within Sanfang Qixiang in a converted mansion, which was the main attraction of staying here.

Location is one of the best things about this place but not only. Staying in the middle of the historical district allows you to feel the same way as the people that used to live here years ago. Authentic architecture of the building that you are staying in and the surrounding nature is something hard to get in big cities these days.

Very well located, in an old house. When we arrived in our room, the floor was really dirty. Service is correct, wifi is really slow
