This established luxury hotel truly lives up to its reputation. The decor is understated yet opulent, exuding an old-money elegance. Despite being open for many years, the facilities and amenities are exceptionally well-maintained, with every detail reflecting the management team's dedication. Traveling with both elderly family members and young children, we especially appreciated Sia at the front desk. She was incredibly thoughtful, quickly understood our needs, and provided friendly and professional service. The hotel's central location makes it convenient for visiting all the attractions, and the views are absolutely stunning – just gazing out the window is incredibly soothing. We even found ourselves returning to the hotel early in the afternoon to relax because we were so tired from sightseeing, and it was wonderfully comfortable. The InterContinental, as the final stop of our journey, truly brought our entire trip to a perfect close!

Booked this hotel on Trip.com for our family trip to Fuzhou with the kids. It's super convenient, right by the subway exit, and close to popular spots like Shangxiahang and Sanfang Qixiang. We got a suite, which was spacious enough for four, and the breakfast was pretty good too.

Everything was great, apart from the slightly dated facilities and decor. We booked an open-plan suite, which was much more spacious, and we received afternoon tea every day. Plus, we had complimentary access to the executive lounge. The hotel is very tall, and we stayed on the 30th floor, so it felt like we had the whole city laid out before us. The Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the front desk service was excellent!

The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the service was excellent. We even got a free upgrade to a larger room! It was fully booked when we arrived, so there were a lot of people, but everything was well-organized. For example, breakfast arrangements were handled very efficiently, keeping things orderly. Very satisfied overall.

We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 PM on the fifth day of the ***** New Year with our child. The doorman proactively helped us open the car door and carried our luggage, and later helped us bring it to our room. Peter at the front desk, a patient and conscientious young man, checked us in. I thought we'd have to wait for a room, but he arranged for immediate check-in, which was a pleasant surprise! He generously gave us complimentary breakfast for three. He also added me on WeChat and said we could contact him if we needed anything, and indeed, he responded very quickly when I messaged him later. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 The front desk also sold 'You Shen' blind boxes. My child meticulously weighed each one, and the staff didn't show any impatience. Finally, he drew the 'Mafu' he had been wishing for, and he was absolutely thrilled! The hotel's location is great. Although it's a bit older, it's very clean. The room was tidied up quickly and thoroughly. The toiletries smelled lovely, and they provided about 8 bottles of mineral water daily, which was plenty. If you go to breakfast late, you might have to wait a bit, but they seat you very quickly and even personally escort families to their tables with a great attitude. The breakfast tasted good and had some variety each day. Breakfast runs until 11 AM, so you pretty much don't need lunch. If I have the chance to visit Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here.

We chose the InterContinental Hotel for our Chinese New Year trip to Fuzhou. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the Line 1 subway station, making it convenient to get to any attraction. The breakfast was also very diverse, and my husband and son were very satisfied with their meal. It was a great travel experience overall.
