Stayed here for 3 nights at beginning of October. Hotel was nicely situated near the beach and with local bus to Gandia city outside. Room was nicely appointed with large comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with great choices including freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was excellent. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Gave us a nice restaurant recommendation, restaurant hogar del pescador. Would definitely stay here if returning to Playa de Gandia but would go earlier in the season as it was very quiet in October.

Very enjoyable 3-night stay in Playa de Gandia. I stayed in Room 105, one floor above ground level, which had a terrace! The front desk clerk lady was very nice, as was the breakfast lady (sorry, didn't get their names). Room was very clean as was the pool. The Carrefour market next door was convenient for basics. "The Laundry Store" self service laundromat one block away, 4€ wash includes detergent + 3€ dryer. Breakfast included juice coffee yogurt croissants donuts scrambled eggs bacon sausage and more.

Fabulous weekend. The hotel is remodeled, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathroom very spacious and bright. The charming hotel staff and the very good breakfast buffet, spectacular juices and coffees.

Quiero comentar, que soy cliente habitual de Barcelo hoteles y nunca había tenido ningún problema. En esta estancia en el Barcelo Albatros ocurrió lo siguiente: 1.- Reserve una habitación superior vista lateral al mar. En la web se indica que esta habitación tiene entre otras cosas: Baño renovado ( el baño era muy viejo de los años 90), cama king side, ( la cama era de 135) ultima tecnología en baño con efecto lluvia ( nada de esto estaba) albornoces y zapatillas ( no había nada en la habitación). Lo peor de todo no es que no hubiera nada de esto, sino que desde la recepción me indican que la habitación es correcta, les comento que eso no es lo que pone en la web y ellos muy mal educadamente me dicen que les da igual que eso es así. Yo les comento que mi habitación no es la que se indica ( en la web también pone desde 25m2) la habitación tenía escasos 20m2. Ellos insisten que es correcto todo y que los albornoces solo los tienen la suite (pueden ver en la pagina que no es asi). el staff es muy muy incompetente, sobre todo una chica joven y un chico que pasaban de todo. Este equipo no esta a la altura de los hoteles Barcelo. Se aprovechan mucho del desconocimiento del cliente que es principalmente extranjero, pero no es la imagen que tenemos que dar. Tuvieron otros fallos más que prefiero no comentar, la habitación es la 524 . Lo que más me sorprende y molesta es que en vez de molest**** y ver en la web que tengo razón y pedirme una simple disculpa y buscar una solución te tratan mal e insisten que estas equivocado. Barceló no debería tener trabajadores asi que no están a la altura. Esto ha sido hoy día 2 de Octubre a las 9:30 de la mañana que era cuando estaban estos 2 chicos (chico y chica) en el mostrador de recepción.
