We brought the WKF Australia Kickboxing Team to The Okwin Hotel Resort. The Resort, the rooms, the food, the facilities and all the surroundings were so surreal, magnificent. The quality of the food was so good. The Staff were very helpful, very friendly, accommodating. The surrounding nature waterfalls, the pool area, the whole experience was great. The variety of food was great, especially us coming from Australia, the Kitchen Staff served us Western food. It was top class. Finally, the Hotel Manager Mr Chanaka was very friendly, welcomed me and my Team with open arms. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this great Hotel Resort. We are coming back again in early October for more of this great Hotel Resort experience, which only the super friendly Sri Lanka people knows. The surrounding views, the Staff, the Management - All 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. the location is absolutely breathtaking, also room was spacious and comfortable. food, breakfast and lunch buffet were good. overall, a memorable stay at Okwin resort. looking forward to seeing you again.

This place cannot be recommended as a safe destination. We had a very bad experience there. We went to the hotel and were enjoying our time. There’s a river called Galpoththa. The hotel staff said it was a safe place to take a bath, but there’s a maelstrom. My husband and his friend were pulled into it, and after a big struggle, we managed to save their lives. After that, the security officer said, "This is not a safe place. Last week, a doctor drowned here, and eight other people have also drowned." Why do they mislead their guests like this? If you hope to visit the place, do not go to the river. If someone reads this before visiting, at least I can save one life.

We booked two rooms as someone from our group had stayed there a few years back and had a good experience. Few years later, 2024 our experience was terrible. Food was tasty but absolutely no selection. Then the rooms…… unclean, smelly bathrooms, please save your money

We went there in February 2023. It is one of the best stays I ever had. The staff is very attentive. The gem of the hotel is nearby waterfall. You can have a natural bathing experience without any trouble. Our room situated near the waterfall therefore much away from the restaurant. But we enjoyed the walk. Staff always encouraged us to dine inside the room. The service was great. Many thanks for Mr. Chinthaka.

I went with my family and relatives and we thoroughly enjoyed the environment surrounded with full of nature. We enjoyed the western menu for lunch which cooked with high standards. Everything were on time as we expected. Special thanks for the F&B team and the entire hotel staffs.
