This has been the worse experience in are life staying in this room. this place is a fire hazard unsafe nothing like the pictures. Absolutely disgusting The Pictures do not represent the true nature of this place. I am reporting this place to the Fire Marshall and Health Department.

Disgusting hotel, didn't get any sleep because it was such a gross hotel! Dirty floor, moldy bathroom, and everything was very outdated. Also the furnace was plugged into an electrical box that was laying on the ground right next to the bed plugged into another loose electrical box in the wall. It would have been easy to accidentally shock myself on a 220 volt outlet. This hotel ruined our trip to Gatlinburg.

The price is low howard Johnson bought it people lives on the property full time crayon marks on the floor ceiling pastor falling down under the bathroom sink falling down under the door you can see daylight the trash hasn't been emptied in days mustard splattered on the wall behind the microwave just plain nasty 2nd time staying here won't be back

Extremely disappointed, pile of trash outside of the office, like an animal had ripped it open, still there when we went back after breakfast to let them know we wouldn't be staying another night. A note posted on the office door to go to the Howard Johnson next door for stays and reservations. Smoke detector battery dieing and beeping, a cup and towel under the sink to catch the water due to a cracked pipe, room was dirty. Kevin, the manager, let me know that "it is a "travelodge" which is a low budget hotel so you can't expect much." You're still offering a service and taking your guests money!

I under the impression that no money would be taken out of my account until check in that way I could pay for it all with one card the morning before we even made it to Gatlinburg they had already took money out of my account then we go to the room and it smells like death in there and we went and Baltimore fresheners to put in there to try to get it to not stink the floors were dirty the tables are dirty the chairs were dirty the bed might have been the cleanest thing in the room then you got people just to live in there with trash everywhere it was horrible worst stay ever

How this place is showing 3 stars is beyond me - 1 is too high. Simply needed an overnight stay for a day hike the next morning. Dirty and disrepair is an understatement. Outlets hanging out of the wall, broken switch plates, unfinished drywall repairs, crud on the baseboards and floor, broken shower insert with inadequate old repairs, broken bath vent fan, broken dirty bath faucet. How Wyndam has put their name on this is simply beyond me. Do yourself a favor and find something else.

Location is amazing. You have to walk to a hotel down the road to check in. The rooms are very outdated. My floors needed mopped, bathroom had some mold in the shower. Smelled like cigarettes. Bathroom light did not work and smoke detectors were off the wall with no batteries. Sketchy at night. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Looks like a trap.house. dont let the pictures online fool yall. Don't check in there have to check in down the street. Mold was everywhere room was discuting. Had a overdoes in a room down the way the 1st night
