We have staying at Le Fruitier many times over the years. In fact it was my parents who recommended it and also stayed many times. Still family run and they care about you. We hope to revisit in the near future.

Second visit within a month - perfect location within an hour of St Malo and yet within easy reach of the major sites in the area.

The hotel was lovely - one of the nicest family rooms we've stayed in. The town was beautiful as well.
Just a shame that children were too excited to get to sleep!

We only came for lunch. We sat outside in the garden. The place was very busy. We ordered4 salads and enjoyed them. The salads were very well presented and well seasoned. The service was a bit erratic but they were very busy so maybe that's why.

Lovely Hôtel conveniently situated with parking adjacent. Price was very reasonable and pets can also stay. Clean and tidy on arrival and the reception very helpful. Lovely little bar lounge area to sit and relax with a drink which we did prior to our restaurant reservation which we were told to book as it did get busy and it did really quickly, not surprising as the food was well presented and also delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Ideal location just off autoroute. Cleanliness is faultless and staff always friendly and willing to help. Restaurant food is excellent and good choice of meals. Bar area very comfortable and reasonable prices for a hotel. Overall excellent every time we stay here.

Decent rooms, poor restaurant, good breakfast. Fine for an overnight but try eating elsewhere. We had to send both main courses back to the kitchen. Fish stone cold and beef burger undercooked in the centre (raw minced steak in the middle). For the fish dish, all the kitchen did was to reheat the complete plate of food in the microwave. For the burger, it got another 5 mins on the griddle. Not good which ever way you look at it

We chose to stay at the Hotel Le Fruitier as a jumping-off spot for our two-night stay on Mont Saint Michel. On the positive side, the room and bathroom were spacious, quiet (with the help of automatic metal shutters), and spotlessly clean. On the negative side, the staff was efficient but not particularly friendly and the decor of the room was something out of the future (as seen decades ago) or the Jetsons (uncomfortable modern chairs and ottomans). When the room was furnished, it was probably considered modern and futuristic, now it is simply dated. Free public parking across the street from the hotel is a plus.
