Stayed for three nights when going to Assen Moto GP and the first thing that we noticed was the town is really nice and the hotel is perfectly located for all the local shops. The room was a great size, with a big double bed, excellent shower. We did eat at the hotel the food was excellent, service was great and also the football was shown in a separate bar which just the icing on the cake.

Na pittige uren in Beilen naar de Westerburcht in Westerbork gegaan. De omgeving maakt ons al blij, de ontvangst in het restaurant nog meer. Genoten van een heerlijke, rijk gevulde hightea. De zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije bediening maakt het geheel tot een feestje!

Wat een super fijn hotel Bij binnenkomst netjes en correct geholpen aan de receptie We hadden een kamer op de begaande grond met een sauna op het terras De kamer was ruim en schoon mooie badkamer voldoende handdoeken Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid met veel huisgemaakte producten veel keus alles was vers Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Heel gastvrij ontvangen en heerlijk gegeten. Iedereen in de bediening was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Daarnaast is de Westerburcht ook maatschappelijk zeer betrokken, wat is te lezen op het etiket aan de waterflessen op tafel (zie foto).

Wij logeerden één nacht in dit hotel, dat zich om mij onduidelijke redenen De Abdij van Westerburcht noemt. Het gebouw is 20e eeuws .. wellicht heeft hier ooit een abdij gestaan? Opvallend aan het hotel zijn de vele uitbouwsels .. met glas afgeschermde terrassen, serres e.d.. Dat maakt het gebouw er niet mooier op. Enfin .. niet zeuren. De Westerburcht is een welness-hotel. In een apart gebouw sauna, etc.. Onze kamer klein .. de badkamer (douche, toilet) is echt krap. Maar men heeft door kleurgebruik een geslaagde poging gedaan de kamer er gezellig te doen uitzien. Bedden niet breed, maar goed. Wij dineerden in het ruime restaurant .. beknopte kaart .. we aten er uitstekend. Het ontbijt, tegen extra betaling, uitgebreid en goed. Kortom, voor één nachtje uitstekend. Voor langer verblijf zou ik een ruimere kamer boeken.

Had een 1 persoonskamer waar gewoon alles perfect mee was, prima ruimte, mooie badkamer, heerlijke regendouche, en een top matras (als je van hard houdt). Erg vriendelijk personeel. Zeker weer een bezoekje waard mocht ik ooit weer eens die kant op gaan.
