"It was the most comfortable and decent hotel on my trip in Austria.Located about 15 minutes by car from Salzburg, but I have been so well without any inconvenience in city sightseeing.Recommended."
"2 large and 2 small rooms for 3 people. The hotel is really great, very Austrian countryside. The continental breakfast is very rich, with a variety of delicious, especially bread, with many items and everything is delicious. The children ate the most in Europe this time. On the night of check-in, I unexpectedly encountered the monster parade before Christmas. It was a very interesting experience. Diagonally opposite is a Christmas market, the food is also very delicious, the locals recommend an orange juice flavored cocktail, which is amazing, even if it is alcoholic, it does not taste alcohol at all"
"The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, the reception is on the second floor without an elevator only stairs. Beside is McDonald's which is open until late. The bus 21 is just below the hotel is a plus that you can easily go to the city in 11-16min and free with the mobility pass the hotel gives, the bus runs almost every 25min. Overall the customer service is good."
This traditional inn is just off highway A1 in Eugendorf, only a few miles from Salzburg.

You will find several cozy, rustically furnished dining rooms, where traditional Austrian cuisine with a creative touch is served.
The 600-year-old wine cellar of Gasthof zur Strass has a wide selection of fine Austrian wines.
"Great place with the wonderful scenery up there.
It's obviously not easy to get there by using public transport tho, if you have a car, i believe it's one of the best place to stay:)"
"This hotel is a century-old hotel run by four generations. It experienced a fire and was rebuilt by later generations. Although the hotel looks a bit historic, the facilities are well maintained and clean. By European hotel standards, this is above average.
Like most European hotels, booking two to three months in advance will yield better prices. If you have enough budget, you can book a deluxe double room, because it has a terrace with a better view. You probably won't find a hotel with a better view than this one near the city of Salzburg, but you have to drive to get there. The hotel provides free parking and has ample parking spaces. When checking in, there were about 25 cars parked and there was still space available for guests (the hotel has about 30 rooms).
The hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options, and you can enjoy your breakfast outdoors while admiring the beautiful scenery. The hotel's restaurant also offers a paid dinner menu for the next few days, but reservations are required. The fried pork chops taste better than the famous restaurant I ate in Vienna, but the price is only half. The meals are relatively cheap compared to other places in the city, so you can give it a try.
In summary, if you are traveling to Salzburg by car and plan to visit surrounding places, this hotel would be your first choice. "
"It doesn’t matter where you drive. The most feared is free parking. It is self check-in. Before you check in, you receive a large room code, you can enter by yourself and have a checklist, informing you which room you are staying in, the key is inserted in the door, and there is a small kitchen. Area, kitchenware is available for cooking early check-out is also self-service, everything goes well"
