There is no lift in the old building, necessitating walking upstairs to the second floor. My eventually staying in the new building, where there is a lift, entailed my having to walk for about 30 meters through an outdoor yard (partly used for car parking), at zero degrees centigrade, to go to the old building where breakfast is served (where there is also a small bar), and then back through that yard to go to my room. The old building is a little quaint, and the new building is a little modern. Cold buffet breakfast selection was rather poor, without e.g. any low fat yogurt or low fat milk, only with a very poor (if any) selection of bread, croissants or fruits. The room was quiet, as requested, spacious, but when I moved in there was no heating, and I had to phone the hotel manager (who apparently is available round the clock) at 2 am, to ask for the heating to be restored. Hotel reception was closed at the weekends (Saturday and Sunday), except for the rare occasions when guests were checking in or out. Regrettably, nobody told me about it, on arrival, resulting in my desperately looking for a bell or another entrance to manage to get into the hotel (at 11:30 pm); eventually I succeeded in finding an incospicuous door to the aforementioned yard. The double room I stayed in, was clean, spacious and eventually, warm enough. In the bathroom, toiletries and towels and space are adequate (for a two star value for money hotel - even though the towel rack was too far away from the sink). TV reception, with stations catering mainly to the non English guests, is adequate, but not so much for businessmen (who might, of course use the free wifi with their laptops). Luggage storage is available at a charge, up until late evening on the day of departure. Staff (including the mamager), on the whole, are helpful and polite, and their English is good enough. In summary, a two star value for money hotel, not suitable for winter or long stays, but passable for short stays when the weather is not too cold.
