We had a great stay at Hotel Balbi. True, there is currently no elevator in the building but the owners were more than willing to carry our luggage up to the third floor. You cannot beat the central location which is an easy walk from the train station. There were three of us and we were placed in a large room which had a double bed and 2 singles. The no frills room was very clean and we considered it to be excellent value for the price paid. We will definitely return on our next trip through Genoa.

We stayed one night with my family. It is a historic residence so unfortunately there are three flights of stairs and there is no lift. Which can be inconvenient but the owners are very courteous because they gave us the keys to the warehouse which is located at the entrance of the building so we could leave the stroller. The rooms are very spacious and the fresco on the roof of each room is very nice. It is close to the aquarium and they have contact with a garage where you can leave your car.

Accoglienza eccezionale e posizione perfetta Il nostro soggiorno in questo albergo è stato un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Fin dal primo momento, il personale della reception si è dimostrato straordinariamente gentile e disponibile, pronto a fornire consigli e a rendere il soggiorno il più confortevole possibile. È raro trovare un’accoglienza così calorosa e autentica! La stanza era pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, ma ciò che l’ha resa speciale è stato il bellissimo affresco sul soffitto, un dettaglio inaspettato che ha dato un tocco di fascino al soggiorno. Non so con certezza quanto fosse antico, ma sicuramente ha contribuito a rendere l’atmosfera più caratteristica. Inoltre, la posizione dell’hotel è perfetta per chi vuole esplorare Genova senza dover dipendere troppo dai mezzi di trasporto: tutto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Se cercate un posto accogliente, pulito e con un personale che sa davvero come far sentire a casa i propri ospiti, questo è il posto giusto. Tornerò sicuramente!

Hotel sito in un vecchio palazzo (senza ascensore) al centro di Genova a pochi passi dalla Stazione e dal porto in un vecchio Tutte le attrazioni sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Personale estremamente gentile e prodigo di consigli!!!

Esperienza veramente rilassante in questo Hotel. Ho prenotato per me sola per un viaggio di affari a Genova Sono riuscita a prenotare per telefono in tempi brevissimi grazie al proprietario, ed una volta arrivata ho trovato una camera molto graziosa con un' atmosfera accogliente e soffusa ad attendermi. Il bagno è in camera ed era tutto pulitissimo, il letto molto comodo. Il personale della reception è stato molto cordiale, simpatico e disponibile Infine, i prezzi sono veramente competivi 5 stelle tutte meritate!

Magnifico palazzo antico con un suo charme particolare e i suoi fantastici affreschi.Accoglienza come ormai non si usa piu',seria,disponibile e professionale.I proprietari sono molto gentili ,ci hanno aiutato anche a risolvere un problema con la macchina. Infine la posizione centrale consente di visitare la città molto comodamente .
