A hidden gem. Home from home. We were in the 'Owners Suite'. Very comfortable with large bedroom, sitting room and table/desk, large bathroom and kitchen area. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Breakfasts were excellent and cooked to order. The Manager, Wendy, was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great pool area and garden. Highly recommended and when next in George this will be where we will stay.

The rooms met our expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast was a disaster no buffet was provided, no fresh fruit, cereals or marmalade. Poached eggs were not available. Considering the owner owns a bakery they ran out of croissants and muffins and the bread was supermarket sliced.a

Edenwood is a lovely house full of character and charm. We were lucky to be staying in the Forest View Suite with all the amenities you might expect from these rooms. Wendy made us welcome and did her best to give us a good experience.

Excellent Service, rooms are nice and cozy. Very accommodating when it came to serving of breakfast. Wendy made sure I had my breakfast even though I left for work at 6h30. The scenery is very exclusive, knowing there is a forest nearby.

Very friendly owner, warm welcoming. The room was very clean and well designed and decorated. Excellent and reach breakfast. The whole neighborhood was nice, green, quiet and safe. Good value for money

I stayed with you for a weekend and I really enjoyed every minute! The view from my balcony was so peaceful and the silence was just what I needed to meditate and work on my book. The staff? very helpful and professional, thanks you made the stay so much nicer. Unfortunately I missed out on the breakfast because I never have breakfast.

I stayed in one of the upper rooms for 2 nights and was very surprised on how spacious it was. I normally work on my laptop during the evenings and had a choice of sitting outside on the stoep with beautiful views of the Outeniqua mountains or inside when it is a bit chilly. I have to mention the comfortable bed that made me sleep like a baby, it was quiet, good quality bedding and cushions. The host was welcoming and made sure that I was comfortable. Great breakfast and just what I needed before a busy day. Although the bathroom was not en-suite, it did not bother me because it was private and assigned for my exclusive use - it had a huge shower and beautifully decorated. Overall a most enjoyable stay and I will definitely be back. There is also Netflix.
