Excellent apartment, very well fitted, comfortable bed, beautiful view of beach and waves, with instant access to beach. All restaurants in walking distance, Hosts Rita and Mike charming. Will definitely go back!

Best beach Hotel at the garden route- Ocean view, rolling big waves, the owner Rita is a healthfully host , the house is located close to good restaurants, Galleries and Waterfall walk, the decoration is colorful with warm touch.

Great place to stay with the proximity to the beach and easy walking distance to the village. The hosts are very welcoming. The room was clean, very well decorated and equipped with everything. Only the shower would need a refresh.

We liked very much the closeness to the village centre. The rooms are very nicly furnished. tThe garden with armchairs slopes down directly to the vast sand beach. A beautiful place to relax. The nearby restaurant overlooks the ocean and serve the freshest fish from the sea. They are several other restaurants to one`s choice in the village. There you also find various shops, a Pharmacy and medical Doctors.

From the moment we arrived until our departure my friend from Italy and I had the most wonderful moments at this exquisite place. All our needs were met, and so much more we received. Our room was exquisite, the view breathtaking. The service we received, tops.I will definitely return again and again. Haus am Strand is a gem of gems.

Haus um Strand is gem. Situated right on the beach in the Wilderness it offers very comfortable accommodation and great views. We stayed in the Ocean Suite with double doors opening onto a grassy patch which led the beach. They provided comfortable long chairs and umbrellas. The unit had a partial kitchen which allowed you to provide your own food. (no breakfast is provided). Rita and Nick were gracious hosts who could not do enough for their guests. I had backache on arrival and Rita provided me with a hot water bottle! Right across the road are a number of good restaurants and up the road is the View Hotel which you should visit for a meal. This B&B was excellent value for money and I highly recommend it. While there look into the cruise on the Touws River. It was very enjoyable.

We stayed 2 days in two different rooms at Haus am Strand and everything from beginning till the end went perfect. We had a warm welcome, the rooms are nice, spaceuous and clean. everyone from staff was super freindly and did an amazing job. Location is immedaitely on the beach, lovely. To city center it is a 3 minute walk through a safe underpass below the main street.

Had a fantastic stay at Haus am Strand and my only regret was that it was only a single night. Amazing views and just a few steps to the beach. Bars and restaurants are also only a short walk away We will be certain to visit again for a longer stay Highly recomended

Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves , bed was comfy with nice linen - beautiful views and walks on the beach - stayed on the ground floor , next time would prefer a room with a balcony or to the side for more privacy - Rita was a very attentive host
