The staff were excellent. Friendly, approachable and accommodating. One of the staff parked her car elsewhere to let us have the lot. Thankful for her service and assistance.

Estuvimos alojadas en una habitación triple con LAS TRES CAMAS de igual calidad, circunstancia que pocas veces se encuentra en los hoteles. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y solícito a nuestras peticiones. La habitación disponía de un baño renovado, sencillo pero muy completo. La ducha era de plato con una presión de agua caliente muy buena. el desayuno incluía fruta fresca, tostadora, todo tipo de repostería, etc etc siendo el personal que nos atendía extraordinariamente amable y solícito. La señora de la limpieza de la habitación siempre se mostró muy atenta y colaboradora.
La distancia al centro de Stresa es de unos 12 minutos que se hacen cómodamente andando.
Recomendaría este hotel!!

I visited here, as a solo traveller and stayed in quite a large, comfortable, beautifully presented single room, well priced, which I felt incredibly comfortable and at home in, with a lovely spacious balcony, looking partly over the gardens and covered in beautiful flowers..as was the whole hotel. The energy was lovely, the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for me, including giving me some free entrance tickets, another guest had not used, to visitl Isolo Bella and the most beautiful park, about an hours (lovely, walk away. Beautiful flora, with deer, goats, many birds and most incredibly a gigantic male peacock, that strutted around, freeling, showing off his beautiful tail. The small, garden was lush and perfectly maintained. The smell of perfumed Jasmine permeated the whole place. They had a small, but lovely and peaceful pool area and a lovely bar, where you are treated like royalty. A lovely restaurant, on site and I would highly recommend half board, as the food was lovely as were the serving staff. It was not central, but a pleasant walk, of around 20 minutes into the centre. Cleanliness was 10/10. I lovrd this weeks syay at The Flora and hope to return, as I was so sad to leave. A huge thank you to all who worked there. I shall return

I don’t even know where to begin in describing how wonderful the staff at Hotel Flora was. The hotel manager, Carlo, went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect—exactly what a great manager should do. Francesca was always pleasant and helped us so much throughout our visit, and Julia was also fantastic. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The view from our balcony was perfect—we could see both the lake and the mountains. There was some street noise, which meant we couldn’t sleep with the doors open, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The location worked out great. The train station was only a 15-minute walk, which made it easy to spend a day in Milan. There’s also a car rental agency just a block away; we rented a car and had a wonderful time visiting Lake Orta and Bellagio. Restaurants are a 20 minute lovely walk from the hotel. Hotel Flora exceeded our expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stresa.

Lovely hotel. Manager and all staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and are vegetarian but there was plenty of choice for us. The food was excellent. We started off with a mountain view room but upgraded to a lakeside view which was well worth it with the most beautiful view of the lake and islands. We went there to celebrate a special anniversary and when the manager knew he arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be delivered to our room. Definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully, we will return one day .

A lovely hotel, located just outside the main town but a nice walk of about 20 minutes along the promenade to get to the town centre. Staff at Reception were always so friendly and helpful! Our rooms were simple, spacious and very clean, with balconies overlooking the Borromean Islands - a beautiful view to look out on! Nice pool area to relax in and a great little bar too. Breakfast was second to none! We loved the wide range of items available and all the food was really good quality, we really enjoyed our breakfasts as a great start to our day! All in all, a wonderful stay and we were sorry to leave! Would love to return one day.

Good location just outside busy Stresa, but only 15 minute walk to town. Hotel restaurant was closed for evening meals which did us a favour as we found an excellent restaurant 10 min walk away, down by the lake. It's called Lidro Volante, very busy, advise to book.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended a terrific restaurant and made the reservations! Also provided a boxed breakfast for an early train. The room was very nice and quiet. It is right by the ferry and near the walking path by the water. Would go back! Only downside is shortest walk from train station does not have sidewalks for most of it.
