Gili Tenda Resort

This was my second stay at Gili Tenda Resort, I had gone there for the first time in 2019 just before Covid and I was amazed by this establishment, I also left a very appreciative comment. But in 3 years it is clear that things have changed considerably and that the hotel has deteriorated dramatically. Installing canvas tents as bedrooms was a good eco-responsible idea, but it is clear that with time and bad weather they age very badly and the interior of the tents has gone from light beige to green, dirty brown . We spoke with the manager who has tried to clean twice and says it's impossible. The jacuzzi in the pool did not work because it was broken, the lights in the pool were dirty, green with mud on them, which shows the level of maintenance of this pool which did not reassure us. The parasol canvases and bamboos of the bungalows have lived and have not been maintained or replaced. Getting to this hotel is difficult, the surroundings of the hotel are a real open-air dump, the hotel could still make the effort to clean up the waste for tourists. We had booked 3 nights, we didn't even spend the first one there and preferred to stay in another hotel a little further away.

Hotel correct sans plus. Petit-déjeuner pas très copieux. Réveil à 5h par l appel de la mosquée. Toiles de tente vieillissantes. Bon accueil. Odeur permanente de déchets qui brulent dans toute l'île, c est infame mais l hotel n y peut rien. Les repas et boissons sont aléatoires quant à la composition.

Das Tenda Resort ist ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Ort. Man ist schnell am Strand und auch an der Hauptstraße, wenn man sich ein Rad leiht. Die Räder vom Hotel sind nicht die besten, aber preiswert. Das Essen war gut, die Poolanlage sehr schön. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!
