I've never heard about Gizycko town until preparing our northern Poland tour. As we were visiting the Wolf's Lair which is around half an hour drive from Gizycko, we chose to spend a night here in order not to drive 3 hours back to Gdansk in one day. Hotel is situated in a historic Chateau right by the river flowing through center of this small town. Check in was fast by kind staff, and we were given a nice room with river view. Room was spacious enough with nice classic era style decoration. Breakfast served in the morning was very good and varied. Best of all is the spa area with heated fair size pool, two hot tubs attached to it and sauna. This was very pleasant to heat ourselves after exploring out in the woods on a cold March day. In front of the hotel is a parking lot paying few Euros. Hotel to recommend as you wont find similar in vicinity.

The name may raise eyebrows but our experience here was first class. Excellent front desk service, high ceilings in our room, best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time with a great variety of Polish cuisine. Top class restaurant. Sauna, spa and pool were good. Great location next to the canal promenade. Couldn’t fault it.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Good location and parking. The staff was very helpful. The room was big and beautiful, we loved the comfy bed and the bathtub in the middle of the room :) Great relaxing area with pools, jacuzzi and saunas. Very rich breakfast in a beautiful restaurant. Definitely recommended!

We visited this hotel first time, but not last! Very friendly staff and guests. Breakfast was very good. We asked some special drinks, and we got it! From 4 pm they open bar, which works till 12 am with bouling, where you can spend time. In my opinion this is the best place for relax!

Das Hotel liegt an einem touristischen Hot-Spot und Abgrenzung davon ist nicht vorgesehen. Direkt hinter dem Haus, fast verbunden ist ein einfaches Hotel und ein Campingplatz. Unser Zimmer lag im Parterre, sodass es zum umlaufenden Hof jederzeit und immer von allen Hotelgästen einsichtig war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eine Massenabfertigung, Abendessen eher schlecht, da die Küche wohl nur auf Halbpensionsgäste/Buffet eingestellt ist. Die Außenbereiche sind gut und unser Service war nett.

... die wir jemals auf unseren zahlreichen Reisen durch Polen sahen. Der Bau lässt völlig jede Sensibilität vermissen gegenüber dem Original, dem Zamek krzyżacki und gleitet teilweise in den Bereich von ‘Attractions‘ ab, wie man sie in Las Vegas in Bezug auf historische Gebäude - etwa Merlin‘s castle - findet. Als Hotel möglicherweise besuchenswert. Wir haben nur die Lobby besucht und empfanden das Ambiente als etwas pompös. Aber dies ist ja Geschmacksache. Ein anderer wichtiger Grund dafür, dass wir hier nicht abgestiegen sind, ist unsere Reise-Motivation. Wir gehen auf Reisen um andere Länder und deren Menschen kennenzulernen. Gerade Letzteres erschien uns - nach etwas Umherhören - hier nicht möglich zu sein.

Bardzo przyjemny pobyt, piękne miejsce i rewelacyjne pokoje w klimacie trochę komnat zamkowych. W pobliżu mnóstwo atrakcji turystycznych. Polecamy tez korzystanie z basenów i spa. Posiłki bardzo smaczne i różnorodne. Fajne miejsce zarówna dla rodzin i przyjaciół
