Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles - Glendale

This hotel is really great. Our whole family is very satisfied. Good, great! We will definitely book again. Our whole family loves it. The room we booked this time was very spacious.

I stayed here to visit Universal Studios. It was a 17-minute drive from my hotel, in a safe area, and relatively affordable. Target was a five-minute walk away, making it convenient for grocery shopping.

Traffic jams are very serious in Downtown Los Angeles, so we chose this hotel far from the city center. It took us more than an hour to drive from the Avenue of Stars (high way was also congested). Across the street from the hotel is a mall, which has everything from food, clothing, housing and transportation. Restaurants include Din Tai Fung, Marugame Seimen, conveyor belt sushi, food center, etc. There is also a target (three floors), which has CVS, fresh fruits, snacks and various daily necessities. However, although it is across the street, it is still recommended to drive there, because most people in the United States drive, and there is no one on the road, which is a bit dangerous. Moreover, the entrance of the mall is not on the roadside, but on the parking lot. If you walk, you need to go around the entire mall to enter. On the second day of our stay, we arranged to go to Universal Studios, which is about 20 minutes by car from the hotel, which is very convenient. Parking is free at the hotel. There is a parking lot on the same floor (1st floor) as the check-in counter. You can enter the B1 parking lot by going around the hotel to the other side. If the car does not find a spot on the 1st floor, it cannot go directly to B1. It needs to leave the venue and go around to B1 (people can take the elevator to the 1st floor or B1). When checking in, if you need to park, the waiter will add a parking permit to your room card. You can just swipe the room card when the vehicle leaves. After checking out, the waiter will return the room card to you. After the vehicle leaves, there will be a drop-in box next to the card swiping machine. Throw the room card in and you can leave directly. It is very convenient. There is 24-hour self-service coffee and tea on the second floor of the hotel, and breakfast is also on the second floor. Breakfast is simple eggs, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, etc., a relatively standard American breakfast. For me, the only disadvantage of the hotel is the shower, because I went with my child, and the hotel's shower is fixed and cannot be removed. It was very embarrassing when I helped the child take a bath.

Living on the side of the street, the noise is terrible. As long as there is a car passing by on the road, you can hear everything. I even misunderstood that I didn't close the window. I thought I was not sensitive to noise, but ended up not sleeping well all night. When I took a bath towel before taking a shower, I was startled when a spider crawled on the towel. Breakfast was also very average. I will never book this hotel again, bad review.
