The train station is opposite the bus station with regular services that stop close to the hotel. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming and check in was fast. Our room was great, on the ground floor and overlooking the car park. (A nice one 🙂). There is an industrial park a 15 min walk away with a number of retail outlets and places to eat. Gloucester North parkrun very close but disappointingly cancelled the weekend we were there. I did Gloucester City instead though and that was very enjoyable.

We had a warm welcome. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, working TV and a nice hot shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room also, which we enjoyed a cuppa on the evening.

I was disappointed by this hotel. One of the older ones in the portfolio and showing its age. It was clean and staff were helpful but the room was one of the smallest Premier Inn rooms I have ever stayed in. No space between the bed and the narrower than normal desk and a tiny bathroom. Also, no air-conditioning and no lift and not the best soundproofing. No Plus rooms are available either. It does have ample parking though. The city centre is a half an hour walk away along a busy road. I stayed in the Premier Inn at Gloucester Quays a week earlier. It is significantly better and well designed and is worth paying a little extra for, given the choice.

This Premier Inn is lovely. Free car park, great location and has a Beefeater restaurant nextdoor. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. We had a room on the ground floor which was lovely and clean and the sofa bed had been made up for my daughter. We even got a welcome note and a packet of sweets from Rachael, thank you. There was an issue with the WiFi but staff had reported it to Virgin and it wasn't the hotels fault. We will definitely stay here again 😊

Our two night stay proved to be a look after yourself break, you have a bed what more do you want. The receptionist was climbing over the desk as she had locked herself out of the office on arrival. We had a ground floor room with noisy air conditioning and bathroom fan. We requested dry towels and the room to be made up only to come back in the evening to find neither had been done. The bed was unmade the cups unwashed and wet towels still in the bath. We complained to reception who brought clean towels and took away wet ones. So we made our own bed and washed up. Is this normal?

On arrival it was more of a quick let's check you inn here's your key your room is...ok thank you, have a nice evening to you too. The room was lovely, clean, the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep within minutes! Lovely and quiet stay, just what I needed. However, I really did need to do work on my laptop but the WiFi was terrible I was able to log in once and then kept having an error pop up saying try again or request already in progress. So on that note this is why I've gave it 3 stars as I did need to get work done

We had 2 rooms and were visiting to attend a family funeral. We arrived around 9pm on a weekday night, but were greeted by friendly staff who quickly completed check-in. Adjacent pub closed at 10 which seemed a bit early, but fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with no problems at all. Wi-fi signal wasn't great and didn't work at all in one of the rooms. Our phones (O2) had very poor signal on the site (3G at best, but this is not the hotel's fault), so better wi-fi would have been helpful. We had breakfast at the adjacent Beefeater twice and this was very good with excellent service. We also had one evening meal which was fine, again with good service. Overall, a pleasant stay. Thank you.

When we arrived we had to wait a while for anyone to appear at the reception desk and this was exactly the same at checkout. I’m not sure where the staff are but surely they should be sat at the desk ready to assist. When we opened our room door the smell was horrible. We had to have the window open all night as it smelt musty and mouldy. After further investigation this was from the bathroom where the floor was swollen and ceiling going mouldy. This is unacceptable and mould spores are not good for your health. The rest of the room was clean and well decorated. Wasn’t impressed with the Beefeater next door. Staff were rude and food poor for the price. There was a lot of selection for breakfast but not great quality. Small trolley of cooked foods alongside lots of continental options. We won’t be returning!

A one night stay and not my first at this Premier Inn. Clean & comfy as expected but the WiFi was awful (I don't remember it being that bad last time I stayed here). They still have those terrible fixed head showers which.
